I got the Mega version last year on 2s then about two months ago I stepped up to the blx, talk about an eye opener... I'm liking this mod alot, the tires are good looking also...
Yeah it's pretty damn quick. It's actually refreshing getting a vehicle that out of the box does the speed it claims without mod. Making mine 4s has just taken it up another whole notch!
Funny enough I actually have some of that at the house! It's just funny that the hole is placed just so perfect enough that it can render the servo unless from a rock lol.
Yeah man! It was already quick on 3s but that 4s power just gives it even more low end torque. That hole shot speed is awesome! I thought today going full on that something might let go but nope she just took it. Lol
Now you will need the steel spur gear and diff gear arrma makes them both they are a direct fit. I put my big rock on 4s and it went through a spur gear about every other bash and the diff gears didnt last much longer and then the drive shafts will start popping apart then you will need the steel cvd drive shafts
This little Senton has been through the ringer and has yet to break anything. I even put 6S on the thing lol. The worst thing that has broken was the steering servo and I don’t think that’s related. I agree it could be beefed up but until it breaks I’m giving it hell lol
So the only thing you changed on there is the ESC to a a 120 and you can run for us with no problem you don't have to change your rear diff or what about your spur or pinion because I'm interested in doing the same thing to mine I'm just worried about damaging anything else but I watched your videos and it's pretty cool how you did that you know now you make me I got the blx100 the only thing is mine's the red and black one I haven't done nothing to mine mine's still stock but I'm going to do what you did to to yours I'm going to do
You'll have to upgrade your ESC. I swapped out the BLX100 for the BLX120. I wouldn't chance running 4s on the stock ESC. At least not for long. Other than that I changed nothing on the truck. The BLX120 is around $99 bucks or so.
You can run it on 4s.out the box if you change the esc but then it will start melting gears and chewing up diff gears if you bash on it very hard the spur diff and drive shafts will need to be upgraded to steel or they dont last.
Hi let me ask something when you replace your 100 blx esc to 120 are u using they same radio or get another radio i replace mine put 120 blx esc but its not doing anything plug everything as it is but not working
It’s pretty hard to judge due to the fact it likes to go airborne. Probably 8 to 10mph. It gets to that speed faster though. If you get the power down that thing launches away lol. Also you could mess with your gearing for more but I don’t see a reason. I would rather keep it reliable. Nothing but tires cost me money on this thing. It burns through them lol.
I went with a Savox SW-0230MG servo. Works well and is all metal gears. The only issue is that it has a 25T attachment for the servo horn so the stock servo saver/horn will not fit. Arrma sells a 25T servo savor for about 10 bucks.
Well the Slash Ultimate is pretty cool I won't lie. It's like 200 bucks more than the Senton though lol. I modified my to 4S and still have money left over at that price. I took the chance on the Senton but I love it. Maybe I'll get a Slash some day but I'm happy with my choice.
@@rufffinoo they are both solid choices. All I can say is I'm happy with my purchase. Hell ive beat the piss out of my Senton and it just takes it. I did replace my steering servo. Besides that it loves 4S! I push it hard.

Its worth it. So damn fast. I threw 6s at this little Senton on the stock motor and it still won't die lol
I have the senton and it's awesome,stock tires are OK but very soft and wear really fast,gonna look into your wheels👌👍

I put blue painters tape to cover that hole for the servo, works well

Yeah man. It’s just an unfortunate spot. I get the need for it but it’s almost the perfect recipe for jam ups lol.

Yeah exact fit. I didn't have to mod anything. Plug and play.
Has anybody tried the mamba x 6s on the arrma senton blx3? I'm gonna try it and see what happens!

Are there any modifications required to run 4s in this truck or can you do it out of the box?

You gotta program the remote to the ESC. Your manual should show you how to do so.

The Senton is really strong. You gotta find a Car that is strong enough to take the high speed crashes. It's going 60mph+

If it's stock it's a blx100 not 120a
The motor is stock. That’s why I said stock motor. For real 4S yes it’s safer to run the blx120. That’s not the motor though.
