    My motor got hot on 3s now matter how I set the gear mesh. Upgraded to a 3670 3050kv motor and the motor stays nice and cool. Still rips like a beast, might try 4s now.
    I recommend ProLine Icon SCs with 12mm hexes. They've held up on street running for quite a while and theyre also good for offroading.

    • @Scrammy18
      @Scrammy18  ปีที่แล้ว

      11.1v

    • @Scrammy18
      @Scrammy18  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. You should always go for the highest "c" rating as possible. Unless you want to save money or weight. Your ESC will not pull more amps than it can handle so the higher "c" rating won't hurt it. Basically you're just buying a battery that can safely discharge faster with less heat. The Voltage is the REALLY IMPORTANT part. You definitely don't want to over volt your motor.

    • @Scrammy18
      @Scrammy18  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean if you are really worried they make lots of different types of covers and protectors to prevent that from happening. You could also just fabricate your own covers. Regular cleaning is important. Most of the components will be just fine. Just wipe them off lol. You just don't want rocks jamming in gears. The electronics are mostly all sealed up.

      @@Scrammy18 Have you ever ran the Senton on tall grasses? If so how does it perform? I love the Senton's look but I'm debating if I should get the Granite since the Granite has much bigger tires and taller which easier to run tall grasses.

    • @Scrammy18
      @Scrammy18  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean this Senton can plow its way through pretty much everything. It just wheelies over it. Running it on 4s is just plain crazy lol but I love it. Sure the Granite is higher but I just prefer the better handling of the Senton. A lot of RCs struggle in tall grass. I can say no matter the terrain I really haven't stalled my Senton. They are two machines kinda for different purposes. They do however share all electronics. You could actually convert any 3s Arrma line to one another by swapping parts. I personally like the lower slung look. If you prefer the taller look then go for the Granite. Personally with either you can't go wrong.
