Awesome, a list of fragrances to stay away from because everybody else is using them😂.. Jk... But honestly this gauges what fragrances are being used the most and I don't want to smell like the masses so I think I'll go somewhere in the middle to the other side of the aisle and find fragrances that are more niche... I'm 30. I started my journey to find a signature fragerance 1 week ago. At first I just looked up where I can test fragerances. Then I stopped in and tried atleast 30. Off-topic I know, but why, when talking about marine/blue fragrances does nobody talk about Givenchy Insensé Untramarine. IMO this criminally underrated. It's a fantastic summer fragrance and it has great staying power too. I have an older bottle and I believe now has new packaging (and probably reformulated?) but I rank it very highly. Your views?

YSL Myslf did not impress me much at first sniff, but after some resmells, in its drydown I get now the similarity that some have voted for in Fragrantica with Gucci Guilty Elixir. From that similarity alone I do like Mysfl now.

I wish frag reviewers would stop normalising the massive price tags on fragrances. To say $110 for something that costs a few dollars to produce, is not that expensive, is part of the problem. Greed is out of control and frag reviewers should be calling out the greedy fragrance companies. Even ARMAF are getting greedy, with their new frag costing about £100. They are a budget maufacturer FFS!!

The thing is, these are supposed to be the "wants", not the "needs". Companies invest millions into a product, from hiring master perfumers, to marketing, even to contacting suppliers for their ingredients. Creating a product is not always about production cost alone, and also they deserved to be credited for their artistry, so charging extra on those who are willing to pay and appreciate their craft is reasonable. I know some companies really do overcharge like Creed, but then there's discounter websites who also come into play. At the end, it's our decision to pay or not.
