Going on and on - Afnan's Supremacy Silver is another Aventus inspired option. It has a fruity pineapple opening, some birch and then oakmoss in the dry down - nice and value priced.
Lucianno's have some great LV clones too, with pressurized atomizers to boot (no mag caps, sadly). I know there's Ombre Nomade and Afternoon Swim which are fantastic but there's one or two more that I haven't been able to get.
More videos like this would help the beginners who are collecting. I wish I had this type of comparison back when I started. Since I’m already shoulder deep in expensive niche scents, I’m going all the way

The Woods Collection (The Essence) is a Penhaligon's Halfeti clone. Just picked it up a month ago. Smells great, but no one ever talks about it.

I just opened and sprayed Jean Lowe Noir (in Eu) or OMBRE and it needs maceration badly. Right now is just an animalic leathery scent without any nuances of rose, raspberry, oud and perhaps a minute hint of smokiness.
Hey Ash, Perfumer Quentin Bisch (who did Scandal Absolu & Le Male Elixir for JPG, in addition to many others) just did a fragrance for Lattafa called TERIAQ. Caramel is the main note in Scandal (and it has Vanilla also) and it's also the main note in Teriaq, with the addition of Almond, Leather & Honey and it's AMAZING. It also has Vanilla too. I suggest you check this one out. The Leather is a nice addition to balance out the sweetness. Would love to know what you think!!!

They always say Turathi and Théoreme are Tygar clones. To me they are also Clones of Pompej Rosso from Tiziana Terenzi. By the way: Thanks for your videos. Always informative, well researched and presented in an amusing way. But: The warm season is just around the corner, but unfortunately most of the fragrances presented today are more for autumn/winter. It would be great if you had new freshies on the agenda who may not be well known yet.
It would be interesting to see some more alternatives that don't come from straightforward clone houses. I'm thinking of Explorer, Moustache, Cool Water. If there are more like these, it would be great to know about them.
I hate how Ganymede smells, there's a note in it that's off putting to me. I find Bois Imperial by Essential Parfums is a great alternative and more wearable imo
When Liquid Brun comes up on discounters - guarantee will be sold out in a day or two . Gotten tons of hype by a well known middle eastern fragrance reviewer who shall not be named , and now by Gents Scents . You might as well wait since we are coming up on warmer weather and wait for the beginning of winter. Hopefully by then , the hype train has slowed down .
A couple weeks ago I bought Turathi Blue and threw it right in the trash - smells like concentrated bug spray - it was unwearable. I think there was a quality control problem at the factory or something. There's no way it's supposed to smell like that.
With the proliferation of cheap clone fragrances you have to wonder how the niche brands can remain profitable? I guess one option is to go even more expensive like Boadicea the Victorious who's bottles sell for around $900. I've yet to see anyone create clones of their high-end niche fragrances. It seems right now the only advantage they have over clones is the more expensive presentation (e.g. bottle design and fancy boxes).
@@ThomasSarkus Yeah I was going to suggest the niche guys could differentiate from cheap clones by using more expensive ingredients in their fragrances. But then you look at how clones of Tom Ford Oud Wood have been very successful in spite of the fact that Oud is one of the most (if not the most) expensive ingredients.

Turathi Blue really smells great. Powerful stuff and can be cloying if over sprayed. Long lasting.
...Also hats off to Dumont for putting out fire clones/twists and getting some traction without ripping off bottle designs.

Lamasat oud by dumont is my go to oud wood clone.
It's actually a clone of Thameen Carved Oud which is similar to Oud Wood but I agree Lamasat Oud is fantastic! One of my favorites
