You are forgetting when Jesus said this,, He said that as a man on earth where He was not privy to information for He had emptied Himself for our sake (Philippians 2:5-7)
Now does the Bible say no one will know the month nor the year? What about Amos 3:7?
Read Daniel 8:14, chapter 9, you will understand when the end will come but the day is not known. 2 peter 3:10 but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnt up

Mark, quick update on myself. Yesterday I went in for my second round of spinal injections. I’m still tender today, but I got up and started to get dressed for the Sabbath service. The Doctor said I would be tender for two to three days. At which point then he can determine if I should move on to the next stage, or stay where I am. The next stage is sever the nerves in my spine. I’ve already had four back surgeries, and a permanent stimulator installed connected to the nerves in my spine.

Amen! Will support this ministry of God's Word of spreading the TRUTH of the gospel till Christ comes. Pr. Mark Finley reminds me of my father who is now resting till Christ comes. The humility and the love for God shine forever brightly with every message God has given him. My father met E.G. White's late great-grandson elder V.E.Robinson before I was born in Africa and was a good friend of the late elder Robert H. Pierson. Our house had literally almost all of E.G.White's books. Did not read much as a child but now I do, and together with the Scripture I can testify of God's goodness, love, grace, and mercy. Indeed, "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne" (Psalm 89:14). To God be the glory.

I chose Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior a long time ago. I consider myself a "child" of God and would guess that I now have the Seal of God. (I'll never accept the Mark of the Beast.) I'm a former Roman Catholic that left this "false" worship system twenty one years ago. I'm glad that I left it when I did. I'll never go back to "Babylon the Great", not ever. Satan, our spiritual adversary uses the Catholic Church to reach followers through idolatry as well as many of the other cult like traditions harkening as far back as Pagan Rome. Sadly, many that are devout Catholics have been deceived by this false church system. We are truly living in the last days and much of what Jesus predicted would happen as recorded in Matt 24, are slowly being fulfilled. I'm a truth seeker and desire to know Jesus as much as I possibly can. God bless.

I tried to explain this same concept to Prof. Ranco Stevanovich but he would hear none of it. I told him including Assyria would be taking prophecy backwards from the prophet. i thank God another voice perhaps more influential has said it.
What kind of confusion is that? Rev. 13:10 is not about the Pops of Rome, it is about saints who refuse to worship the beast, the Antichrist. Please people don't be mislead, read your Bible you'll know the truth.

How many times that the Adventist have been so ignorant and full of Pride that the church have been coming up with dates of the return of Jesus. Many people were being deceived. WRONG TEACHING...REV.17:10 IS REVERING TO KINGS NOT KINGDOMS!
Finley means well, however this interpretation is inconsistent with several principles used in Daniel. I persecuting beast can either be a nation (king/kingdom) or a religion, but not both. The seven heads are lines of popes (See egwwritings Lt110-1886.5), on the former persecuting body of the beast, ending in 1798. The seven heads continue until an “eighth” appears who will preside of the final tribulation. The ‘ten horns’ are the apostate Protestant religions (See egwwritings Lt232-1899.22).
So who are these 10 kings that will rise NOW in this Dispensation.
