What did it for me is when I read Matthew 24, Luke 21 etc. Jesus made sure we would know that no one would know the “day or the hour” (because of false prophets I’m sure), but he definitely told us what “signs” we were to watch for. I’ve watched as the convergence of those signs have been devastating for many (and will continue globally) but it sure tells us that His coming is just around the corner! But for more insight I look to the early Church Fathers (those who were alive at the same time as the apostles and those who came directly after). They choose which books would make up the New Testament, they gave us the Blessed Trinity, the true nature of Christ, both man and God. etc. Jesus establish a New Church and a New Covenant built on the 12 disciples now replacing the 12 tribes of Juda. I now quote Justin Martyr 1st century AD, apologetics 67. "Jesus had fulfilled the old sabbath having been raised from the dead on the 1st day of the week. Because the "1st day" was the day of creation, (the first day let there be light), because it is the 8th day following the sabbath, it symbolizes the New creation ushered in by Christs resurrection. For Christians it had become the 1st day of all days, the 1st of all feasts, For it is the 1st day when God created the world, separating matter from darkness ....and when our Saviour Jesus Christ rose from the dead. I quote a tiny piece of St Ignatius of Antioch: "Just as the Father said "Let there by light" on the 1st day, so to, the Son who is also the light, now inaugurates his New creation in His glorified body.....In Christs Passover, Sunday fulfills the spiritual truth of the Jewish Sabbath and announces man's eternal rest in God...... You know it's funny not many people have trouble with breaking the 6th commandment and getting around that one. The Gospel calls us to understand how to receive the Holy spirit which seals us! (Acts 2:38) and how to live our lives clothed in Christ and how to be Holy and live as humble children and how to deny ourselves and submit to an authority higher than ourselves, to be pure in His eyes through Jesus to attain a hope that we could never deserve or earn no matter what day we do anything, by His mercy we do not receive the just punishment due... and by His grace we receive the gift of eternal life with Him... only because of the perfect sacrificial Lamb who gave His life for me, in a covenant that only demands that I give myself as a reasonable sacrifice to Him according to the Gospel proclaimed to us through Jesus and His apostles.
The Gospel must include His Work of Grace which is what the Father sent Him to do. He redeemed Israel from under the law. Our faith must be in the resurrection of Jesus from (out of) the dead saints of Israel that slept. If we believe Jesus rose according to scripture, we believe the Saints that slept rose with Him Matthew 27:51-53. Jeremiah 31:15-17 is the Blessed Hope of Israel and all who receive this hope and promise whether Jew or Gentile. Our Hope is their Hope and their Hope is our Hope because we believe that Christ redeemed them. 1 Cor 15 fully explains that if they didn't rise Jesus didn't rise either.

It's so tiring having to teach people how to read their bibles. The MARK has been around since the days of cain, when God marked cain for LYING and REFUSING TO REPENT. So whenever anyone hears the gospel of truth and fails to REPENT (Acts 17:30), then they are 'MARKED' for destruction (Romans 8:9) because they do not have the SEAL OF GOD, which we are told is His indwelling Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13-14).
Rev 13 is a warning to BELIEVERS, of a DECEPTION, where IDOLATRY leads people to SIN without them even knowing, in the same way that Eve was DECEIVED to SIN. Rev 13 states that people are DECEIVED to worship (or follow) an IMAGE of the BEAST. But for more insight I look to the early Church Fathers (those who were alive at the same time as the apostles and those who came directly after). They choose which books would make up the New Testament, they gave us the Blessed Trinity, the true nature of Christ, both man and God. etc. Jesus establish a New Church and a New Covenant built on the 12 disciples now replacing the 12 tribes of Juda.

The Gospel calls us to understand how to receive the Holy spirit which seals us! The Gospel must include His Work of Grace which is what the Father sent Him to do. He redeemed Israel from under the law. Our faith must be in the resurrection of Jesus from (out of) the dead saints of Israel that slept. If we believe Jesus rose according to scripture, we believe the Saints that slept rose with Him Matthew 27:51-53. Jeremiah 31:15-17 is the Blessed Hope of Israel and all who receive this hope and promise whether Jew or Gentile. Our Hope is their Hope and their Hope is our Hope because we believe that Christ redeemed them. 1 Cor 15 fully explains that if they didn't rise Jesus didn't rise either.
