Some really strange Censorship on comments...I worded my (clean) comments many different ways and it seemed like ‘ Who Loves you Baby’......👨🏼🦲📍 keeps getting deleted?? ....and if you know, you know this classic dialogue
This is true! We were originally supposed to shoot it at the Marriott Warner Center in Woodland Hills, but Rain got sick the day of and we had to reschedule and shoot "Dwight's Speech" in that Grand Ballroom at a later date.
Liked seeing you on Hollywood Blvd.Doesn’t get better.Lived off Hollywood Blvd from 69 to 71 and didn’t have a dime but never had so much fun and excitement since.
This is just all so awesome. And that hotel where that scene of 90210 was filmed! Ahh! My heart. I I know just the scene and I always loved that show dearly. Haven’t been to Hollywood there since I was 11 with my parents, so this was just all so fun to see again all these years later (now in my 40s!😂😮)
My Dad met Telly at a gas station in Seguin Texas back in the late 70’s or early 80’s. They were making small talk, and Dad told Telly that he looked and sounded just like Kojak. He said Telly smiled, pulled a sucker out of his pocket and told Dad who he was. Dad told him he was surprised to see him in the area, and Telly said that he was in the area to film a commercial.
Couple of corrections: The barn was moved to Paramount then eventually moved off lot to be stored until it finally ended up across from Hollywood Bowl. The magic lantern at the Sheraton is an old slide projector not a camera. Nice tour. I live in Studio City.
Adam needs to change his flavor we love the coffee but maybe if he would fly to a new place he’s never been it’s more cool to see him learn then show off
Thanks for the tour Woo, we were at the Sheraton as well several weeks ago, your right the Hilton is slightly better, but the $29 limited buffet breakfast was too much! Also the Sheraton's main entry carpet was gross, cool history though!
Thanks Adam! 15:38 I did see Aerosmith in 2008 while I lived near Shreveport, LA. at a nice, enclosed coliseum. The whole concert was great, but they did not play "Angel" from the 1987 album. They did play "Dream On" in one of the three encore songs at the end. Steven Tyler and the band were outstanding.
These are some of my favorite types of videos of yours. It also blows my mind how fast time goes. Seems like yesterday when I would watch your LA daily vlogs. Thank you for years of dedication ATW! YOU ARE APPRECIATED
AW,IN ,1984 I Attended my 10 year high school reunion thanks for showing the lobby gave me blast to the past. The funny thing is a class mate arrived in a classic car he was drunk and he thought as as he went into the bushes to relieve his stomach because of his drunkenness he didn't realize it was a Glass wall So we all had a front view of ALL OF HIS DRUNKENNESS WHAT FUN HA HA!!!!
Adam, you're always going to southern California. Any plans to try & go to northern California, at all? There's just so much of California to see that you don't really touch on, it seems. Like the Fort Bragg area, Eureka area, north eastern area of California, the Sierras, there's just so much of it, you should check out!
Telly Savalas from here on Lawngyland. Always accommodating to his fans, like Jeff Goldblum. My sister met him in Vegas and when Telly came back on occasion to visit family on Lawngyland, my sister accidentally ran into him again and he recognized her. Went to school with his nephew. So polar opposite to the characters he played as seems to be the case many times. "If I had only been a doctor for one day. Now THAT would have been a tragedy." - Burt Lancaster
You and Curt together, always super fun! We use to cruise Hollywood on Friday nights a loooong time ago, when it was allowed and I remember the first time I went with my boyfriend and I kept pointing out all the weird people on the sidewalk and then after we parked and started walking, he said, now we are going to be the ones they are pointing at! = D
Curt mentioned Richard Blade the dj, hes actually getting a star on the walk of fame so that might have been his star that was fresh there, nit fir sure. Great video and always love seeing you back in your old stomping grounds!
Love seeing my fellow Torontoian Scott on tape.I was born and raised in Toronto in the 50 and early 60. I will never go back to living there it certainly not the same city that it once was. I remember when growing up there we didn’t have to lock our doors like they do now.
YES.... I stayed in the hotel in the 70's...and Telly was living there.... up in a 'penthouse' ..... The TV series..... The Hardy Boys was filming at the hotel.... with many 'guest stars' .... Dennis Weaver rides his horse to the front lobby doors..
I wonder if the star was Rick Springfield’s? I enjoy seeing & learning about how Hollywood got started & the transition to Hollywood today 😊 Thank you Adam 😊🤗
I was a huge Telly Savalas fan as a kid. I had a Kojack lunch box and the Kojack board game! Back in the early 70’s I met Leonard Nimoy. He was doing a public appearance. I shook Spocks hand! 🖖
Stayed at the Sheraton in 1986 with my family and loved it. Saw Telly Savalas swimming in the pool! Walked through in 2022. Beautiful remodel of the hotel. The magic lantern was a kind of early projector, not a camera. I think those photos are just famous stars, not former guests of the hotel. ;)
Its funny you were talking about Kojak and then I also though about how I also loved Columbo, and like magic, you mentioned Columbo also filmed an episode in hotel--and I remember the episode with Spock, so unusual at time to see him outside of Star Trek.
On separate occasions, Mrs. Rated and I had elevator interactions with TV/Film personalities @ the Universal Sheraton. Mrs. Rated and a friend had the pleasure of riding with Lily Tomlin ... my wife introduced her friend as her "sister from another mister", to which Lily chuckled and said she liked that line. After exiting, the friend asked if she knew who that was, but my wife didn't! So now we wonder if Lily ever used that line on camera? Hmmm. Next, my father-in-law and I were staying there for a pre-Oscars event, and we hurried to make an elevator that was closing - only to come face-to-face with ... Honey Boo-Boo and Mama June! HBB looked at us and exclaimed "We're going' ta Beverly Hills"! So ... yeah. Brush with "greatness". 🤔
The Sunset & Vine Chase Bank building was the site of the West Coast HQ of the NBC Radio Network. Across the street, on Vive Street, the bowling alley building (now apartments) was the West Coast HQ of the ABC Radio Network. Then sometime in the early 1950s, NBC moved to Burbank on Olive Avenue (what is now the Burbank Studios, not to be confused when Warner Bros.was once called in the Burbank Studios in the 1970's).
Such a shame that Hollywood Blvd is run down., empty classic buildings and businesses moving out… so much movie and music history there. I think it’s very sad .
Aerosmith story, when I worked at NBC I was bringing Steven Tyler up to the tonight show and he was making small talk. It dawned on me that Aerosmith sings my wedding song. I said “oh, I think you sing my wedding song” he goes “which one?” My reply “the one from the space movie”. I couldn’t even think of the name of the movie. My wife was disappointed in me, to say the least.
Adam I have a very interesting story about the iconic surfer punk band agent orange I hung out with them one night when they came to Raleigh nc and played at the brewery on Hillsborough Street played with gutter fly that night how cool is that huh
The Hardy Boys episodes are....Season 2...episodes 4 and 5 ...The Mystery of the Hollywood Phantom.... you can compare the look of the hotel and lobby...they dine down near and pool and your room.
Scott getting cutoff on an epic story is such a great bit. As soon as I heard his voice I was looking forward to that. Great Job Adam & Scott keeping that bit going. 👊
So, Adam as you drove off into the sunset of Los Angeles area bumper-to-bumper traffic, I don't suppose you had Randy Newman's vintage song "I Love L.A." playing on the radio??
How can you tell the difference between the two Michael Jackson stars? Pretty easy actually. One of the stars has a bronze radio microphone to represent broadcasting and the other Michael Jackson has a record on it to represent the fact he was an artist that put out albums.
I'm surprised adam you've bot got on the gta 5 game! Rockstar games did a sweet job trying to match everything on, Hollywood Blvd! An Scott is the man aye misstaaaaaa
We stayed at that Sheraton back in 1988 and Night Court had their end of the season party there. We sat in the lobby watching Harry Anderson, Richard Mull etc. coming in all dressed up for their big night. Another day they were filming something out front with all of the cameras set up on rails. Pretty exciting when all we had planned was Universal Studio's.

Always fun walking up and down the Blvd . Brings back a ton of memories from when I lived in Hollywood. Time really does fly
Time flies alright - though it seems to me you're keeping up with it 👍
It's not the same America that kids in the 80s and 90s grew up in that's for sure but scott on tape he's a Kool dude.
Why didn't you take the subway?
Adam, ever been to the Sunset Marquis? Great gardens in the hotel if you can get in there. Love that place

Omg loved that scene!!! You have to pound your fists!! 😂

I just stayed there! All the way from Australia!
Scott on Tap and Alan the Woo. Best buddies for life.

1:47 Adam must've meant magic lanterns were early projection devices (not recording devices), since film cameras didn't exist in the 1600s.
Adam continuing to cut off “Scott on tap” is a bit that will never get old 🤣
Thank you for walking the boulevard, brings back great memories of our holiday back in 22.
Thank you for trying to keep old Hollywood alive. My sister used to hang out at Leonard Nimoy's house, she went to school with his son.
😱😃 wow!
I remember you passing by Argyle 😃. This was so fun to see. Especially because we will be visiting Hollywood for the very first time in two months.
The fact you cut Scott off in every video he's in is absolutely hilarious 🤣
So nice to see Scott! What a surprise!
My dad was a cardiologist here in L.A....Telly Savalas was his patient for years. Yes indeed, Telly was a very nice guy!
That’s really awesome
I wish I could have met him.
Dirty dozen.
“Who loves ya, baby?!”
Seeing I don’t get out much I really enjoy your vlogs.I’ve been watching you since 2010,keep the good work going.
Telly Savalas was da man....Thanks for taking us around there

Looks like they had the power washers out more than usual! Tourist season begins. Always fun tidbits of info Adam.
