Nice video, but i would recommend that you attach a string or flex to the original wiring when you pull the side mirror out so that when you put the new mirror on you can attach the string / flex to the new wiring and just pull it through.
Also best to check it all works before the door card is fixed back on.
Handy hint for when you come to unscrew or refit the mirror unit torx bolt... to avoid the risk of it dropping inside the door panel, put a couple of small dabs of blue-tak on either side of the bolt head before presenting the socket. When you press the socket onto the bolt the blue-tak will help keep it snug inside the socket and prevent it from dropping somewhere you'll regret.

3:36 when feeding this wire through be sure to feed it into the correct smaller canal hole internally within the door. If it goes into the wrong place the wire will get in the way and stop your window from going all the way down like it did with me. I had to pull wire out and start again.

Ive just changed my fiesta’s door mirror exactly how you’ve shown. Thank you. The mirror works perfectly using the door controls to adjust tilt and to fold the mirrors in and out. However, they no longer fold or unfold using the key fob when locking and unlocking the car. Is there a step missing in terms of re-syncing the key fob to the mirrors ??? Thank you

In my fiesta car, when I turn my right-hand mirror inside, it doesn't turn completely. is interrupted. I think there is a fault in the motor that turns the mirror inside. what can i do wd40 ?
I ordered wing mirror MK7 which have 10 pins while my car is MK6 which have 8 holes. It doesn't fits now. Is there anyway to get a connector converter from 10 pins to 8 pins? Or any other suggestion?

How do you take the inside door panel off though?
We cannot recommend anyway to remove the inner door trim, you can find a detailed manual in the service documentation for the repair of your car.

@@AntoinMhicArtainyou pull it slowly. It's held on plastic clips. Don't pull too hard, just enough to hear the lugs pull off the catches. Go around the door and pull the door card off. I did mine today in 1 hour. Wasn't very complicated, need patience though.
Hi there I have the same car once door card is removed and wing mirrior is off can you close the Ford or dose it have to be left open ? Worries battery may die
