Was lucky enough to watch them perform at the Edge night club at I-4/ Livingston in Orlando, FL around 93/94 at the height of the "scene" .... damn those were some good times..
Jay Wearden ... Riverside Manchester.. ceiling was sweating, kids coming out the toilet with no shoes on. Didn't stop em having it !! Feels like last week when I hear it
Yeah this was the start for me. In wonderment listening to these 92/93 tunes Pete Tong played (BBC UK Radio One). I thought I hit the "dance" music jackpot when Now Dance 901/902/903 came out with proper 12" mixes. Little did I know this wasn't REAL House music. Really kicking off my love from 94 to 98 with the Essential Selection Mixes, Mix-Mag and all the various Mix CD's.
I first heard this track at a club called the leasure lounge in high Holborn opposite the old daily mirror building digweed dropped it and it still puts a smile on my 😊
It was a 2 hour mix I taped of radio 1 in the early 90's (Pete Tong essential selection, you can download it of his website I think ) there was four of them who got half an hour slots... Sasha,Graeme Park, Alister Whitehead,Dave Seamon..........quality mixes hope this helps.
This is one of my favourite tunes, impossible not to dance to it, it does all the right things. But I've heard both mates and professional DJs end up with a gallopy moment when mixing it.
@@henrycordy it could be similar to " Italian Piano House , some of those used to a funky Break under the House 4-4 , sometimes , like funky drummer & Lyn Collins break & I'm sure if I had the Gear now I would mix this with " Way out West - The Gift ???? 👍
I heard this song in Dallas one night and had to go buy it. That was in the vinyl days . . bought this one at Bills Records and Tapes .. . I would like to get this into my ipod anyone know how to do that?
I recorded the vocal - Jayn Hanna. Come to think of it I recorded the whole thing! Actually ABI was the follow on project from Within A Dream. Organ is a iDX7, bass was my old Mimimoog. Wilf Smarteez here Shout out to Glyn
Can't This be mixed by using a House tune ? what's the BPM counter read ? I mean it had the High Hats ( s" s " s " s " s " s ) but without a Drum Beat ,it has its own Beats yes , Plinky Plonky ones , smart creative & very funky rhythm , why don't we all who knew how to mix give it go , even a Lockdown mix for all on your channels I would definitely be a fan of yours ,if you gave Yourselfs this challenge, try try try to mix it in , even go for a 4-4 over the tune see if it can sound like a house Record dig out your 7 odd minutes of Basic Drum Beat ,good Luck ,I'm going to try it myself 👍😛

I'm 99% sure this is an original track that she contributed vocals on. I don't think it's sampled.
It’s not it’s an original vocal

1:19 and I do believe a korg 303 creeps in. Hairs on balls standing on end music this is lol
It's 'Roland' (not 'Korg') TB-303. But, that bass sound is actually the Lately Bass preset from the Yamaha TX81z / DX11 ;)
