And he only learned how to walk a year ago and said it was quite painful. Of course he’s not going to have as much stamina on land as the others. The fact that he can fly at all, it’s crazy. I can guarantee the NRC students who have always lived on land weren’t flying when they had only learned to walk a year before. And I love it, even though he’s bad at things like that he’s still pushes himself. He knows his weaknesses and he knows his strengths and uses that to his advantage. He could use his power to his full potential if he wanted to, but he knows how much blot would build up, so he knows he has to handicap himself, and he holds himself to those arbitrary rules that he technically didn’t have to make. He could’ve made them whatever he wanted, but he made them contracts were people have to give their express consent for him to use his power. Sorry, I’m just gushing lol he is my favourite character
@@antosaurusrex3752 If you think about it for a moment, Azul (and the tweels) is going through what astronauts go through when they come back to earth after being in space for a while. They have to build muscle and learn basic stuff again because their bodies got used to the weightlessness of space and not needing to do any effort to move. Even tho Azul is bigger and heavier in his merform, he doesn't feel it because he can move around freely without having to carry all his weight, but in land, he has to support all his weight every single minute on just two feet, poor dude must be exhausted and everybody being so unappreciative of his efforts and expecting more on top of everything has to be horrible. My guy deserves a break. The others should go underwater and try to keep up with Azul to make it fair, I bet they won't be underestimating him after that. We're not told exactly how big Azul is in his merform, but Floyd said he's bigger than him and Jade so he must be pretty big, he also said he's all muscle and very strong. I'm dying to see him in his real body, I hope Yana gives us at least a little sketch or something. And turns out I also rambled for a bit lol
Going out on a limb to say if he isn't on par with Mal he's probably a pretty close second or 3rd out of most of the students here if he literally has to put a self imposed handicap on his signature spell.

Theoretically he is incredibly op, but he has a filter since he accumulates SO MUCH blot in the process. The blot, therefore prevents him from using his full potential and is a quote “permanent debug” for him as my friend said.
@@antosaurusrex3752 Yes, I've known that since I played the game^^, and many people can relate to being bullied as I as well have been bullied and ostracized in middle school. And he doesn't starve himself "somewhat". He is LITERALLY intentionally wanting to always check calories and doesn't wanna eat cus he is self conscious of his weight. Also interesting how you relate to him that way... but its not healthy to portray certain characteristics to a FICTIONAL character all the time :) also I don't think it was right to trauma-dump into me but thank you for your insightful answer^^
@@antosaurusrex3752 He never said or stated he disliked healthy foods I'm like so confused... yes he may have picked at his food, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like healthy foods. If you've known in the game he mentions he likes unhealthy food like "Fried Chicken" :)
it does state on his profile that his least favorite food is “healthy foods” but yea I don't think he is starving himself, just conscious of what he eats

I love Azul so much. Saw this video was so cool for me. I think it’s so cool that he’s so powerful and it doesn’t even feel OP. He is mine and I love him so much. I didn’t know anything about his stepfather, so that was cool to know. I got the game after his first birthday card was offered so I never got to get it. Sends them though I’ve gotten every single Azul card available and I now have 6 SSRs that are all Azul. I’m probably too obsessed. Oops
I wonder why the kids were bullying Azul, wasn't the benevolent sea witch also an octo-mermaid? Since Azul is the same species as the sea witch, I thought his kind was supposed to be respected because the other octo-mers were like the descendants of the sea witch

I think Azul wanting to lose weight to look his best is something very common for young people...I like how devs incorporated that idea
