Sadie, I enjoyed watching you sit in front of the fire. Now that you and Stan are there, the house is coming alive again. You two definitely belong there. Seeing you by the fire, I could see such calm contentment on your face. You may not know it yet but, the house has accepted you. 😊
Seeing a beautiful rainbow assures me that this crazy journey you are on is well blessed. At 79, my goal is to stay active and healthy (like Mick) long enough to see the convent and your chateau brought back to life. 🇨🇦❤️
This Chateau is sighing with relief today and it is a beautiful thing. The chandelier is beautiful in the front hall and light up the room brightly. Stan is so methodical and enjoys his work no matter what he is doing, a joy to watch. Have a great day
Getting glass back in the windows feels so good. Modern technology (heat detecting phone) is wonderful. The chandelier does make a difference. Glad trespassers will think twice before trying anything.
Sadie, you look so happy warming up by the fire. Stan fixing the windows asking if your okay. You two are bringing warmth, love and light to this beautiful Chateau. With your family and friends, you can save her!
Stan, if you can get hold of some "' Push Point Glazier Framing Pins"' it makes installing the glass so much easier. When you get to fitting the glass for good, please use traditional putty. The Linseed Oil Based one is the best. It will easily last 50+ years.
What a beautiful chandelier! Billy has lovely taste! I'm so glad you have a bit of warmth in the old place and I bet the Chateau is pleased too! I'm also glad folk seem to have got the message that it's no longer a place to hang out and/or destroy . ❤
Yesterday was so great when you got the roaring fire going and then Stan sang a French song sitting next to it playing his guitar. Looking happy and cozy!❤
Thé new glass makes such a difference. When the other glass is cleaned it will let a lot of light in. Love the chandelier and the ceiling rose is stunning. So are you both❤🥳🥳😉😉👏🫶
It is wonderful to see the chateau slowly come back to life. A warm fire is a pleasant step in waking up the old place. I missed Stan's music today but hoping to hear him again in the near future.
I love the chandelier in the foyer it brightens and warms the chateau with light. Having the fire burning in the kitchen fireplace is already putting warmth up into all the floors from the chimney, which is great start. Ronnie in Saskatchewan.
I am amazed at how much progress you have made at Chateau Pannard in such a short time. Well done! Also, the chandelier that Billy gifted you looks absolutely stunning! Looking forward to your next video.
Billy, you're the best...it does look amazing, I totally love that room and the paint style they created, simply stunning, and to see it without rubble and all the cobwebs will be grand...lots of work indeed...cheers kids...!
its an Ice house, either a lake or stream near by would freeze up in the winter. the staff would cut blocks of ice and place it in the ice house, some of the better ice houses would still have ice in them in August.
My late mother in law lived on such a lake as a child, and watched them bring in the ice. There was a large barn called the ice house, on the lake. They insulated the ice with hay bales, and it would indeed last all summer. She was born in 1917.
Bonjour Sadie and Stan, I am so happy that there weren't any issues with the window glass this go around. Anything to let light in and keep some air out is a plus. The chandelier is beautiful and really lights up the entrance hall. I hope that all the poachers understand now that the Chateau is no longer abandoned, and they leave it alone. Love from N.Y.
It's amazing how different your chateau is looking already. Your brother Billy bringing you & Stan your first antique is a testimont to the love you have for each other. Seeing your face light was beautiful to see. With it being so beautiful, I think the first room you should fix up should be the foyer so it makes a statement right away. It would be the perfect place to dance, again, under your chandelier now. Not to get ahead of myself, but looking at your faces, you two will have beautiful children. ❤️ 🎶💃🕺🌹 Oh, and when I saw the beautiful 🌈, I took that as a sign of great things to come for you both! ❤️
Excellent progress sealing the building against the weather, and drying it out! Very cool app, Stan, to monitor the chimney fire/heat dispersion! SECURITY CAMERAS!!! YAY!!
Hello from California, USA! If I lived closer, I’d help with pulling ivy 😅. It’s so heartwarming to see this beautiful chateau come back to life! I admit I got a bit emotional seeing the smoke come out of the chimney the first time
I watched Ryan video and it was so lovely of Billy to of brought that Stunning Chandelier , the room that its now up in must of been stunning looking at the Ceiling rose and panels . Interesting find on the building outside too . See that beautiful outside staircase that looks stunning to .
Wet day there. We have had snow during the night and 23F this morning. Now we have sunshine 3 p.m. lol That is how the weather is in Kentucky! lol You all are making all kinds of discoveries. An Ice House? We had those in the early days here in the US. Yes the fireplace looks awesome!!! Good to be safe conscious Stan. You think of everything! So happy for you and Sadie. Love the chandelier and I watched when they found it and purchased it for you all. So exciting and All the best to you both.
❤ Glad you have cameras! Hopefully nobody will be stupid & try to steal from you. Every day your Chateau is looking better! 😀 I also found Stan's Garage channel! Motorcycle Garage Channel
A nice cozy fire and some new glass in the windows !!! And a little hidden tunnel or something neat !!! Can't wait to see whats next guys !! Your both Fantastic
The Chateau is happy that you are helping the lovely lady back to life. BTW your parents are so amazing helping out too. What a wonderful brother Billy thinking of you and buying the chandelier.
I think it would be lovely to hear Stan sing with his guitar in Billy’s convent chapel. Perhaps as a little Christmas treat? The acoustics are beautiful in that space.👌💕
Good to see it getting warmer to help with the damp. I think i heard Billy whistling in the background. The chandelier was a thoughtful gift. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
The lady called the château must be happy to feel some warmth and glass to keep out the damp. She looks a-bit brighter everyday. The chandelier is a beautiful gift for a beautiful lady that’s the chateau and that’s Sadie.🇨🇦💕🥰
Sadie, for your old viewers from the beginning it would be nice, if you Keep the People up to Date with your old content/Life, like the horses, the Appartement and all the stuff you did before your Channel changed into the Mucky Mansion ❤️
Yes Thank you Billy, great gift and it will light you all as you clean. Security cams and things are a great idea. I so miss my wood fires, the last move for me was into an apartment, as with needing surgery on my knee, up and down flights of stairs to make fire never mind gathering the wood for winter. It just wasn't an option for me any more.
Kitchen rubbish cleaned out, fire started and glass in the windows. Amazing!! Your break room is almost done, you need a table and some chairs and a cott/daybed/sofa. The chandelier is beautiful. I am so happy for both of you!
Glad to see you using the fireplace. Nothing takes the chill and gloom away better than roaring fire on the hearth. I wish Billy would use one of those at the convent.
The shape of the staircase (round) into the to the underground system may indicate that this was an escape exit, rather than an entrance to an ice cellar. Any type of storage facility, either fully underground or partially underground, used to have straight stairs for ease of access when carrying goods into the storage room. Coal, Wood and Potato storage rooms also had a chute for easy access to the storage room. Ice cellars were usually adjacent to the kitchen and laundry room, which were located almost always in the basement, if the building had a basement. The room for storing fire material was also in close proximity to the kitchen and laundry room. Hidden escape tunnels were also quite common, to allow escape during a siege of the castle, or to allow access for messengers of knighthoods or orders do deliver messages without being seen by the castle staff. Quite often, the Castle Owner used the tunnel to meet his mistress(s) for a secret rendezvous and that sort of thing…. It also could be the entrance to a well / spring. There is always an exception to this standard layout. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Already there is such an improvement, you guys have been working so hard and this once grand chateau is looking so much happier! Billy found such a wonderful gift to bring back a touch of beauty and hint at the magnificence you and your hard work are going to give back to this diamond in the rough! 🫶 I loved how Mick’s face lit up with such pure joy, what an absolute treasure this man is…it’s no wonder all of the family are so adventurous and dedicated. Stan, I think is much the same in many ways with his can do attitude, seemingly never ending skills and also a cheeky sense of humour and a perfect match to our lovely Sadie with the big heart! 🥰
The chandelier is stunning, and the ceiling rose is amazing.
Such a lovely housewarming gift..
IMHO, Billy is an extraordinarily generous young man, with his time, ideas, skills, his thoughtfulness, etc.👍
The chandelier looks fabulous, the Chateau is beginning to breathe again.😊🏴
You're hard hat stickers should say "Stan, The Man!" and "Sadie, The Lady!"
Oh yes, I like that x
Perfect!
What a great T-shirt saying❤❤😂😊
Adorable!
Micks smile at the door being opened, was magical. He loves this stuff.
Sadie, I enjoyed watching you sit in front of the fire. Now that you and Stan are there, the house is coming alive again. You two definitely belong there. Seeing you by the fire, I could see such calm contentment on your face. You may not know it yet but, the house has accepted you. 😊

The right people to restore the chateau definitely. Stan really knows what he is doing and Sadie and her family too.
This Chateau is sighing with relief today and it is a beautiful thing. The chandelier is beautiful in the front hall and light up the room brightly. Stan is so methodical and enjoys his work no matter what he is doing, a joy to watch. Have a great day
I love Stan's English. It may not be as we English would phrase things. But it is beautifully proper and correct.
It's great to watch 2 guys on TH-cam who are repairing a castle for a new life in France! Greetings from Finland!
I like that you guys aren't scripted and you have fun. Keep doing it.
Getting glass back in the windows feels so good. Modern technology (heat detecting phone) is wonderful. The chandelier does make a difference. Glad trespassers will think twice before trying anything.

Billy has such a kind soul and he's such a wonderful brother! Such a blessing!
Agree wish he was my brother. Can the Penthricks adopt me please?
Stan is very organized in how he works.
Stan, if you can get hold of some "' Push Point Glazier Framing Pins"' it makes installing the glass so much easier. When you get to fitting the glass for good, please use traditional putty. The Linseed Oil Based one is the best. It will easily last 50+ years.
Agreed. SO much faster - and more secure than using nails.
What a beautiful chandelier! Billy has lovely taste! I'm so glad you have a bit of warmth in the old place and I bet the Chateau is pleased too! I'm also glad folk seem to have got the message that it's no longer a place to hang out and/or destroy . ❤
Wonderful gift from Billy . 😊
Well done guys! As always it nice to see Mick at the Chateau 💙💕💙
Yesterday was so great when you got the roaring fire going and then Stan sang a French song sitting next to it playing his guitar. Looking happy and cozy!❤
That tunnel or icehouse will be fun to explore. Happy to see you are able to make the place more comfortable to work in. Blessings
I love seeing your Dad smiling 💕💕
Stan is supremely organized and skilled, this project will take shape quickly.
Thé new glass makes such a difference. When the other glass is cleaned it will let a lot of light in. Love the chandelier and the ceiling rose is stunning. So are you both❤🥳🥳😉😉👏🫶
I love how your introduction with music captures the essence of this noble old building.
So excited to watch you bring this old Grande Dame back to life !!! 💖

I’m with you Sadie! Sitting next to a fire is mesmerizing!
I feel like I’m watching two of my old friends 😅 you are both so hard working and kind to each other .
It's really lovely can't wait to see them all each day.
Billy, you're the best...it does look amazing, I totally love that room and the paint style they created, simply stunning, and to see it without rubble and all the cobwebs will be grand...lots of work indeed...cheers kids...!
The heat sensor is SO cool and the chandelier is beautiful a glimpse of what will be in the future - well done Billy !
Well done the fire and chandelier made it so improved and the windows repaired. See you tomorrow.

It's Mucky Time! Beautiful chandelier, what a lovely gift from Billy ❤
You are paying with priceless time and trembling cold to restore this beauty!
Bonjour Sadie and Stan, I am so happy that there weren't any issues with the window glass this go around. Anything to let light in and keep some air out is a plus. love your housewarming gift Sadie and Stan , you are blessed.
Stan you're right. Plastic is more expensive, and the glass warms better, too❤
Nice rainy day in the chateau 🥰 I'm enjoying your company. Thanks for sharing another day
You know your stuff Stan and it's a pleasure to watch you use your skills. Good for you Billy, you've given Sadie and Stan a wonderful gift.

Stan you’re so thoughtful to praise & name the glass cutters good job. It shows your good character.
It is a Spring House---a constant source of water for the chateau and its previous farm animals.
I feel excited for you every time I watch your progress and enthusiasm! Love seeing you happy, Sadie!
Excellent progress sealing the building against the weather, and drying it out!
Very cool app, Stan, to monitor the chimney fire/heat dispersion!
SECURITY CAMERAS!!! YAY!!
Loved the chandelier that was taken down, it was absolutely beautiful! Please use it in another room. ❤
Stan is the kind of guy I don't think I'd bother asking: 'Can you do...'

Every little bit is helping the chateau stabilize from the dampness. Love the chandelier. ❤
I think you are fantastic Stan, very sensible, looking great!
The Chateau is happy that you are helping the lovely lady back to life. BTW your parents are so amazing helping out too. What a wonderful brother Billy thinking of you and buying the chandelier.
The chandelier is perfect! So beautiful with that painted ceiling.
I think it would be lovely to hear Stan sing with his guitar in Billy’s convent chapel. Perhaps as a little Christmas treat? The acoustics are beautiful in that space.👌💕

I agree
Great to See Mick Helping, He Do Anything For His Family 👌👍💕💕💕💕
Everything is looking good already 😊
That thermal explanation of the fireplace was great.
Yes Thank you Billy, great gift and it will light you all as you clean. Security cams and things are a great idea. Thank you very much for your interesting videos. Every day is different. Until next time👋🏽🇳🇱
Love seeing the fire in the kitchen. Billy did a fantastic job with chandelier.
Exciting, what's in that hallway? Nice fire going on. The chandler looks great in that foyer.
Loved the rainbow 🌈
Thank goodness for the video cameras!
Don’t know if I’ve mentioned… but I absolutely love your home/bio photo ❤️
Fascinating to see the thermal camera guys, Stan your plan to keep the bad weather out and the warmth in is coming to fruition. See you tomorrow 😊
Glad to see you using the fireplace. Nothing takes the chill and gloom away better than roaring fire on the hearth. I wish Billy would use one of those at the convent.

There might have been round openings in the chimney to connect a stove pipe…you better look behind the boards….😮
Rain rain go away, come back another day. 😊⛈️☔️🌈
As I said on Ryan's channel yest Good onya Billy for the beautiful gift ❤
Stanis a great addition to TH-cam Chanel. Class and brains. Keep going Stan you will work it out😊😊😊😊😊😊
It looks like a Springhouse!
You could be moving into that room next. Awsume seeing you by the fire, in dream land Sadie. Keep playing us the music and song Stan. It's lovely.
So many good things to come. Love the chandelier! Love watching you two.
