Amazingly great and she is a once in lifetime artist who made this type of music and magic with her dancing. She can only be copied and emulated!! I’m with you NOBODY can touch her. She will always be my favorite and I enjoy educating and promoting her. She loves her fans as much as we love her. Thank you. “Get it out me” is a Jam from 20yo and the whole album was fire 🔥

@ShiningStar Yes, you're absolutely correct. I never said Rhythm Nation was choreographed by Tina Landon, but I just said that the entire Velvet Rope tour (and "janet" tour) was choreographed by the legendary Tina Landon.
9:03 so here voice is naturally placed in the higher register. That comes from her natural tone. Like Mariah tone is naturally deep like Brandy. She just got a huge range and can hit those notes
Fun fact: In an interview with her then friend & exclusive choreographer, Tina Landon (who did the nunchucks part in the music video) said the routine with the nunchucks was very precise and hard to learn. Even though they weren't real, they were made of hard plastic. Janet accidentally hit herself hard in the face with one of them during a early on concert date and graceful "bowed out" of that segment of the performance for awhile after that by running off of the stage for that part. She did, however, quickly gain her confidence back and soon again performed that part with her dancers ("the kids")
Yes yes yes!!! Come thru, 20 Y. O!!! A most definitely underrated album. I think "folk-ses" panties were STILL in a bunch after the superbowl "nipple-gate" moment, (MTV and much radio were still not playing any of her music). Also I think because (her then boyfriend) Jermaine Dupri had co-produced such a major part of the album, some felt that she was trying to capitalize off his recent successes with Mariah's TEOM album. Either way, the album was madd dope and highly underrated.
