Off stage she was almost shy...NEVER HEARD A NEGATIVE THING ABOUT HER...SHE WAS MARRIED TO THE SAME MAN FOR 50+ YEARS...Her heart was broken when her real love...and to be honest from what has been reported and confirmed being said...The King, Elvis and Ann-Margret had a fling...Elvis was absolutely awe-struck by her...she was the only entertainer who could keep up with Elvis in a live performance...He called her his Soul Mate...Crushed her when he remained loyal to Priscilla and didn't follow his heart....seems to have all worked out...She was almost killed in 1972 during the opening sequence of a stage performance when a plaform she was supposed to be lowered to the stage...instead of making her grand entrance from the sides or back...they thought lowering her down would shock everyone...and they were right...an error was made securing the safety lines and as the audience watched her beginning to be lowered the support cables holding one corner of the platform snapped causing her to fall nearly face first from ~25ft...numerous broken bones...facial fractures, broken jaw...mouth wired shut...ribs and hip broke..wasn't sure if she would ever dance again...and she was in a COMA for 3 days...Shocking everyone the firecracker was back on stage about 4 months later....IMO, one of the most naturally, God Given gorgeous women to have existed...

We had this 45rpm as kids when it came out and we wore it out on the phonograph. Makes sense, being that the lyrics are at the grammar school level. Plenty of idiotic nonsense songs over the years became top hits or million sellers...this is one that is solidly on that list.

Yessss. She also had her own hair, her own boobs & her own bum. She didn't need 30 layers of makeup to look gorgeous. She sang without auto-tune or lip syncing. She could actually dance real dances; no need to pretend to dance by pacing around a stage posing, gyrating & stupid twerking w her nether-regions in the air like trying to pass gas or something. She never minded if hotel or wait staff looked at her when she passed them in the hall - she'd look back & smile at them instead. She spoke to reporters & regular people with kindness instead of disdain. She had a genuine marriage based on love & not fame or an obsession with more & more money. And she didn't feel the need to flash her personal fortune around in everyone's faces... like certain/many celebs seem to do today. She was a true star. A beautiful person inside & out. There needs to be a return to this kind of decency where true beauty & talent shines...not the inflated egos from phony smoke & mirrors stuff we see today that gets rewarded richly far too easily.

I must say that having first seen and Margaret perform from what I can gather from my 46-year-old memory bank for the first time ever just this evening in that black and white TH-cam viral video and then searching her out more I'm a little upset that she was not part of my genre of stars to watch and figure out a free for free because they put themselves on the pedestal for us all to watch to figure out for free this very interesting personality I wonder having not done any more investigation than the two videos if this is all just a costume and I wonder if she's really was a really sweet and kind and soft-spoken person or if she portrayed somewhat of a looser image on camera and in real life I will say she could feel the beats and moves in dance shapes that I am seeing now a little bit on tick tocks but those foot shuffles and then I've seen Madonna do some funky weird moves with her torso and some video from 15 to 20 years ago but Ann-Margret was before all of them it seems I think she was inspired by Elvis a little bit but where did she hang out where did she understand how to find those beats but she born with it what's her nationality how many times did her hair color change what is her OG color of hair and where was she born

@@jelenastojanovic5984 I've used-up all of my commas and I don't plan on renewing my membership anytime soon you see I tried to look at it this way I don't say, when I talk and as we become more learned as readers and writers I'm pretty sure folks know where the commas should go but do they really need to go and I'm also interested in folks possibly knowing via a group of words that signal a comma is coming next I haven't quite studied it however I imaginary 30 or 40 words that occur more frequently than others that almost either we're just too over it to even think about it or we haven't thought about it enough but these words signal hey the comments coming next we're kind of like the undercover punctuation and pastor ninjas that slice out these funky squiggly marks and allow more room for the more dominant wiggles in straight lines together complete something if I put a bunch of commas next to each other I just have a whole bunch of writing professionally for 12 years, and when your largest medium writing within is the wonderful world of weekly circulars and catalog copy trust me when I say they will shoe horn in every possible feature of any product to catch a wider audience by finding peaks of interest in the variety of people matching up with the variety of sellable points each point separated by your friendly, oh man I've probably used more commas than most maybe not but I imagine so and I did want to point out that I'm not anti, I think it is a good observation of a what is that a cadence with which we talk to help one another understand but it's really just like indicating the rhythm to the forefathers and mothers and brothers and sisters and grandpas and create grandmas ingredients and uncles that were not quite as right style savvy and communicatively Keen and just plain more I'd say broken in to a language that hasn't changed much in 100 years other than when we started pointing out well this is where you pause and this means to raise your voice when you're reading it because it's a question but don't words like and as w h a t already indicate that and do you know I have not heard much mention being paid lately to the very important chunk of information or seemingly important back in the day chunk of information singling out who what where when why how as a very important distinction amongst all the words but they're self-described and I think they have weeded that section of stuff out and narrowed it down to just a day in one ear and out the other let's face it kids are texting with hieroglyphs these days and even the letters might go away in place of a more quicker communicable design I hope not cuz then I wouldn't be able to write run on sentences without any commas and by the way How did you say the word t h a t in your head at the end of that thought whereby a question about the lead off hitters of words like what indicating a question is already understood. Have you ever listened to someone read aloud text or copy they haven't read before and listened to the very unpersonality like act they put on when the question mark comes into view. They don't ask questions so curiously abstract in pitch different than most all other pieces of our language it's still there at the end however sometimes it's more direct and that? Could throw you off except for your own inference and understanding of the context itself so sometimes you're actually being punked and Hoodwinked by members of the punctuation crew whereby a punctual delivery thought I'll be a question or answer or straight up jargon I'd say a punctual communicator is one that delivers an understanding of the language enough even think about wanting to change the name of the dictionary to the spell checkbook I mean we're not overwhelmingly adding any vast amounts of words to our language on a regular basis and I don't think that diction is quite the placeholder in the education system of today's majority populated school systems I will say that gumption is and I will say that you may have been told something just because it's on a list it doesn't mean you have to use it or that the instructor even thought it was useful information but because it was on a list they told it to us or you or maybe not hopefully not I don't know I've not been inside a public school system as a teacher I don't know what is overlooked and what is over past I for one as a teacher currently try to imagine my own son being led by his instructors anytime I feel like getting lazy or anxious to move past a subject I actually take a deep breath and I'm able to dig down even deeper hoping that the karma will pay off and that his instructors do the same and take the deep dive into any teachable learnable coachable moment. May I ask a favor of you would you mind placing commas in the exact spot where you know they should go without overthinking anything just as you would read it in as you hear it in your head in my statement whereby you reply or my usage of Thomas not in this long-winded just the first one I will do the same I will Mark comment in and do it on 12-point type of let's say times New Roman I'll print it off and I'll print mine off let's say it's in letter style and no spaces from the top margin just kick it right off with no indentation paste it in there into a word and I will hopefully be able to lay the two over one another and see if your color, of your choice of any color except for green line up with my dream, you can use dream too I guess doesn't matter as a matter of fact why don't we agree on a color when we both use the same color and I won't lie them on top of one another I will live inside by side see if deleted I or pastor by if they appear identical or if there is you mind or very noticeable misunderstandings and communication marked by your placement of a comma in spots where I figured were already within the wheelhouse of all on liquors. I didn't say I had data I didn't say I had fact but I did want to mention yet once more it's kind of fun coming up with something like this and writing the leading edge of well something that will most likely amount to nothing but a bunch of conversations in my own head all punctuated well but invisibly of course as I read and write

Rosy Introspection Bias is real. The present doesn't even have a chance.
As aging adults, it is far easier to escape into our imperfect and cherry-picked memories and scapegoat our current frustrations on the unfamiliar and the young.
There is no escaping it as we age. We must deliberately combat this bias.
It tends to make us more depressed than happy - and too ungrateful for the beauty and the good around us in the present.
