Probably my favorite episode, a big point id agree on is the XMR should have had QS3 shocks. The biggest market i see for this rig is hunters, it can hit trail and mud and be a utility machine all in one.
Great video. Looking forward to more field testing, definitely my favorite. I’d like to see a video with a first person POV as well with Luke’s plan of attack for technical trails in future videos.
Fun video and looks like you guys had a blast! I think this machine would have benefited with better shocks for sure, slap some Fox's on there and it's ready. The look of it is growing on my as well. It would have been nice to see you back at home cleaning it up. I wonder how long it would take to pressure wash it and make it look nice again. It takes me like 2 hours to clean my RMAX XT-R so that is looks good and I can work on it (if need be) and park it in my shop without all the slops falling off. Thanks for the video!
Great review, very good layout of information/visual performance on the XMR. Will you be doing a review in the near future of the 2022 Can Am Commander XT 700? Thanks.
Luke... its not a submarine! Awesome video. Can't wait to get my XMR. Just an idea, why not get Steve to "teach" Luke strategies and techniques for deep mud, especially in a more stock machine. I would love to see a pro's approach and tactics for when things are sloppy. (Yes I know Luke knows mud, but think it would make a cool vid).
Thanks for an amazing and very informative video I have 2015 commander and I’m thinking about getting a new commander xmr but for a little more I can get an x3 xmr. Because if your gonna spend $20 plus thousand might as well get the big dog right.
For those commander XMR 1000 owners out there - is 100hp enough power for this machine ? Big heavy unit there. I’d have figured 135hp area would be a better fit. Cheers
Any squeaks or rattles? Shaking? Paid 30k for my rzr, the squeaks and rattles actually where thrown in by Polaris thank goodness. Oh and terrible shock setup clutch issues. Body panel issues. Allot of quality control mishaps on my polaris turd ride command edition. Thats the only thing i like about it
This ride proves the capability of the Commander XMR. I like that the winch and intakes etc are mounted high. I like having the bed vs a practically unusable space on most sports machines. I've sat in this Commander model and like most sxs, I've not felt comfortable because of the upright seating position and the dead pedal not allowing for stretching my left leg. This new Commander has lost some interior space imo. The X3 is so comfortable but so much sport with zero recreation. It has however the best seating position for me. I've yet to sit in any sxs that comfortable. Sadly it isn't the machine for me. I like the utility of the Commander, the Honda 5, the Kawasaki Teryx but they are almost too utility. Though stated as a great all around ride, the Commander's cockpit is cramped, especially when I'm bundled in cold weather clothes. I'd want to enclosed such a rig but accessories are so pricey that it is out of reach. Great video.
Hi im enjoying your videos! I own a can am maverick x3 turbo rr..4 door I am wanting to put 18 inch wheels and 37 inch muddying tires on it right now and it has the stock wheels and tires. Can you give me any advice as to what your thoughts are on these changes? Anything you recommend? Thank you so much I appreciate your help. I have heard big tires effects the performance. What do you suggest for max performance
Neat machine. Needs better shocks and needs to lose about 400lbs. Weight is an issue now with a lot of places putting dry weight limits on machines to try an keep the jeeps and trucks out of designated ATV areas.
I liked the commander until I sat in it. It's a wide UTV with a small width body. Cup holders on the floor and seats to close together sitting shoulder to shoulder is the reasons why I'm not a fan of this UTV now. I think the cab should.be wider. With a nice center console/arm rest
for the prices of these machines, (car territory) they need to include a LOT more and stop charging frankly quite a lot for the accessories that should be coming standard.
why do they mount winches so high. so much stress is being placed on the chassis during a hard pull plus its inefficient as hell. there is a reason can am mounts them low

That was the best episode I’ve ever seen dirttrax so other then the gen one mud racer build 🤘 cheers
That's awesome! Thanks and glad you enjoyed!!
Best episode of dirt track I’ve seen. Nice
Thanks Tom! Really appreciate that!
Wow , awesome guys . This really highlights the capabilities of this great machine.
Great video. Looking forward to more field testing, definitely my favorite. I’d like to see a video with a first person POV as well with Luke’s plan of attack for technical trails in future videos.
Hey Luke,
Thanks for the follow up test drive and getting a mud racers opinion on the XMR. Great video
Watched you on Dirt Dudes great content hope you make it to Tennessee keep up the good work on your videos
Nice episode. True test of the xmr depth lol. Appreciate the content guys.
Appreciate that so much!! Thank you!!
Better shocks and better colors, it would be a home run! Still impressive

Are pontoons a option?
Great video, still waiting to see one at my local dealer.
Best episode since I started watching your channel
I def want a commander xmr now
You guys should host a Dirt Trax trail ride
It appears the CANAM XMR can handle pretty much anything! Good report!
Nice machine but just needs a roof standard on all machines preferably, nice 👍 job
If its going to go that deep on the regular maybe skip the roof! lol
@@thegodfreyspecial423 if I’m going that deep I’ll bring scuba 🤿 gear !! Lol
That looked like fun. What do you think of the digital gauges compared to the older ones with a mix of analog, and digital?
Great episode!
Glad you enjoyed!
Great review, very good layout of information/visual performance on the XMR.
Will you be doing a review in the near future of the 2022 Can Am Commander XT 700? Thanks.
Now this was true test to see what the XMR can do.
Commander Xmr is the best Brp Buggi !
Where did you bought it ?
How mach is it 22.599$ ?

Ben Dunn, did you get your XMR yet?
Did you get your XMR yet?
@@kifferpete7987 yes I did about 6 weeks ago
@@dunnjob any complaints? I just ordered one, but it won’t be here for 4 months.
That was some damn deep muddy water. lol
I wonder what media outlet gets that unit next? ;D
Great episode just wish you would show the whole clip when hitting the big holes instead of cutting to different clips
How do u change maximum speed on here
That shot was deep! Deeper than the x3 xmr!
How much leg room does she have? I’m 6’5” do you think I would be comfortable?
Great episode by the way!!
Put some system 3 370s on it!

Awesome episode! You guys should do a review on the commander 700 too since it’s $5000CAD cheaper then the 1000
Damn that was funny. Half boat half sxs
For those commander XMR 1000 owners out there - is 100hp enough power for this machine ? Big heavy unit there. I’d have figured 135hp area would be a better fit.

Lol. Which HATVA trail was that, I want to avoid it? It would swallow up my little Kodiak.
You sure did go deep!
Can't believe you shut off the engine with the exhaust under water 🤦♂️. Got lucky mister! Nice machine 👊
The fella riding shotgun is a Can-Am engine guru. We weren't worried a bit.
Did this change your mind about your initial drive of the XMR?
Good job

I've got 1 ordered and I will swap out the springs
I'm thinking of doing the same. Did it make a difference on yours?

It's a great question! I'm going to leave this one here for our community to answer. Can anyone offer their suggestions?
I am your big fan

Did he say bottoming out on rocks?

Man I’m dying laughing too hard rite now

Too keep them out of the mud.
But my dream is Brp Commander Xmr !
I am 13 and i already have a CFmoto 650
No you don't.
No better promotion for BRP than a class action suit ad in the middle of the video for Razors bursting into flames killing people.
Polaris as a hashtag?
All about the algorithm. People searching for Polaris may be considering Can-Am as well.
Nah, that was a dumb mistake on my part. All fixed now. Sorry about that!
@@dirttraxtv it’s all good just thought I’d mention it ps I love your show
👍
Now the problem is getting one lol
this is why I don't buy used.
you had better buy a boat. 😅😅
Maybe you know how to deliver it to Ukraine ?
