It;s cool that 3 were sold in Canada and nice the Pontiact guy went after all of them. I see this is 9 years ago and i think they saved the last one in a dump in Canada. Good work guys.

This is a gorgeous muscle car!!! I’m especially fond of the 1969 muscle cars! The white and liberty blue is gorgeous together! I wish those color options were available today for sports cars. I can only dream! Thanks for sharing this beautiful car and its story. I had no idea there were only 8 made. That is wild! Does anyone know how much they sold for when they came out? I’m sure since only 8 were made they were much more expensive! I wonder why they went through Canada? That’s odd but I don’t know anything about that area of manufacturing. Rest in peace 69 Trans Am! You are beautiful! 😂❤

Kevin Says episode #52 “Just because a car has a limited production number doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cool or collectible or RARE”!!! Let us all just take a moment to let that sink in!🧐 😮

+Harold V. Yeah right I dont buy it sure sounds and looks like someone title washed or revin a 69 Fbird vert. Mike Noun has already been proven that he publishes non factual and fake data

I paid 2500 for my 69 trans am in 71
It was a 1970 on the title but it was built in 1969 and a half is why they are calling the first year Trans Am a 69.
There were 8 convertibles built out of a little less than 800 cars all together.
I had mine for 11 years and sold it for what i had paid for it . Mine had 25,000 miles on it when I purchased it .
Someone in Pennsylvania was driving through Springfield Ohio and the gearbox went out so instead of waiting to get it fixed he traded it in on a new car .
I would have kept it had i known then how much they would be worth today .
I can say that's what i ran around in during my teen and early 20s.
It did turn some heads ...

I know for a fact one went to Canada. I spent my teens in the passenger seat of one of the eight.

It was purchased from the Jim Pattison dealership by Billy Kidds. I could have bought it for $2500.00 in the mid '70's.

@@timtanner5978 I worked with a guy back in 77 that owned it. A truck driver for Perry Trucking baced out of Evergreen press on Marine Drive. He is now my Brother in law. He sold it a few years later.

@@cdn_badger I remember when he bought it. Was his name Mike. I think he was seeing Pam Shannon or at least knew her from Evergreen. You probably know it was sold at B.J. a few years ago then.

I agree the information is nice but one big question where are the AMC vehicles. Yes the big three had some sweet car but what about the under dog. AMC all the way!!!!

Im a Mopar guy so that also makes me a fan of AMC . The 69 Hurst S/C Rambler, 70 Javelin Trans Am, and 70 Rebel Machine are definitely my personal favorites from AMC. All the HiPo 390 /401 AMX's and Javelin's and the Hornet S/C 360 were cool cars too. The Alabama State Troopers actually used 1971-72 Javelin 401's as highway patrol cars. The 401 powered Matador's were also used as highway patrol cars by many different law enforcement agencies. The AMC 390/401 is a really underrated engine that made great horsepower and torque but was also really tough and reliable. I'd love to drop a 401/4 speed in a Gremlin and take it to the drag strip and embarrass some Mustang's and Camaro's for fun lol
