thank you brother. does the alton tower waterpark accept in person booking? The website has the day I want to go greyed out (sold out presumably). Would it be possible to still buy in person or over phone despite this?

I wouldn't risk it without a booking. It does get busy so I'd imagine they prevent bookings to stop overcrowding. Its worth a phone call to see if they can book you manually.

It costs about £200 for an overnight stay for a family of 5. Would be less if you had a smaller standard room. It included breakfast.

I'm a tad late but I wouldn't bother with the rollercoaster restaurant.
As great as the gimmick is, the food is... Rubbish to say the least.
Used to be pub like food but now it's fast food.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I was after the gimmicky part anyway. I would be disappointed though if I spent a significant amount to only eat tasteless fast food which sounds like what they are offering.
