Why bullshit???? Volvo manual gear shift is THE BEST I have driven,and a real pleasure to drive,SR 2400,VTO 2514 are the very best manual gear shifts for me!!! With my 4 FH (1st and 2nd generation like this one),it was a very reliable lorry,I did give back my last with 1 412 023 km.,only "big" problems with alternator and fuel pump as breakdowns!! NO bullshit!
Actually... they don't have to be clutched for splits or full gears. These however are synchro gearboxes, so no double clutching required unlike your roadrangers. Oh, and even fuller recommend clutching ALL shifts; splits, fulls gears and range changes alike. It's a shame you don't know more about the so called "eurotrash" that you are calling garbage. I venture to say they would eat every U.S. truck on the market. Feel free to prove me wrong.....

Yes,you´re right!!Americanos think they´re best of world ,but synchronized gearboxes and power clutch didn´t reach over the ocean!!Yes ,it´s long way... Eurotrash(??) has it more than forty years as I know! P.S -Changing gears without clutch can every a bit skilled driver,it´s nothing special..
much you dont know about, we have had gearbokses we didnt need to clutch at all, and these days we dont even have a clutcpedal, and now gearstick at all. but the gearboxes it self is still normal manual. and now double clutch gearboxes is in the way in to the trucks. so that is going to be exciting. goes straight to next gears "without shifting" and still no clutchpedal, without looseing turbopressure, nm, hp etc in the changes, like F1 cars. first lines i wrote we had since middle 90s :)
