- If you are going all the way to the north of Thailand, Chiang Mai is a given. But YOU CAN'T LEAVE until you also visit Doi Inthanon National Park. There is so much to see in this lush mountain paradise and it also contains the highest point in all of Thailand! From the beautiful viewpoint of the King and Queen Pagoda's to the amazing hiking trails in the park, there is something for everyone. Join me and my Dad as we go on a tour of the area, so you will know what to expect when you come here!

I was there last week. It was an amazing one day trip....better than Chiang Rai triip. It was cool and the lunch at the tribal village was amazing. At the highest point you will get the chance to make a wish if u can balance the coin. I loved the visit to Chiang mai especially while the Sangkron celebration was in full swing ❤❤❤. Oh I love Thailand!

Recommend to come at 6-7 in the morning. Doi Intanon is one of the best place to see sunrise. If you come on November-January You will see sea fog ,It’s very beautiful and very cold in the morning

Most of the tourist only known a short trail called Ang Ka Nature trsil at the highest point area of Doi Inthanon but they do not know another 2.5 Km. short trail called Kew Mae Pan trail which is popular among Thai people for watching the sunrise and the sea of mist. I love the lush green forests on Doi Inthanon and glad you like it.

Thai people used to be very hospitality but it has long gone. If your dad still here, I can show him around, no charge.
A new bullet train will runs from SG to CM and Kunming, China in a few years. That makes life greater for seeing the beautiful world of Asia. Keep your schedule tigh in this area, a lot more to see and do.

That's the problem with getting to waterfalls, pagodas, and highest part of a mountain range is there are always steps and steep inclines. Who designs all this stuff, and why that way? However, the views are always worth the sweat. This park seems to be well worth seeing. Was the option of a private tour even available and if it was, at what sort of additional cost? When you're on a group tour you're going at the speed of the tour, whether you see or experience everything fully is not the point. Many people are just happy to just have a selfie showing they were there. I prefer the full meal deal and to really dig into experience. This park looks like it is a must to experience.
Yes definitely agree. Not sure exactly what the price of a private tour would be, depends who you go with I guess. I would estimate that if you just had a driver and it was two people, for all day maybe around $150 including everything we had.

In addition to watching the sunrise, sea of fog, waterfalls, trekking, hill tribe villages. The tallest and largest observatory in ASEAN, twin pagodas and a cold atmosphere all year round. The statue of the King of the Lanna Kingdom Used as the name of this mountain, the highest in the country.
At Doi Inthanon, it is also famous for watching various kinds of birds, especially local birds that are found only here, deer, chamois, watching winter flowers. and local such as the Doi Inthanon rose tree Pink and white mountain cherry blossoms, Black Forest, Melbourne natives Including the Royal Project which has temperate plants. and winter fruits and high quality coffee varieties Including raising sturgeon caviar as well. 🤗🌸💮💐🌺🌲🍁🦌🕊🦅🐟⛰️🏔🛖🌄

There are several interesting places in that area, you should stay up there for 2-3 days.
