1,000 miles in, I'm loving my '24 SE. Added a Puig Ranger windshield, a Shad 50L top case, and mirror extenders. Mostly for commuting, but occasional highway use. The windshield helps with that a lot. Much better than the Rebel 500. More horsepower, lighter, and a MUCH more comfortable seat. Also tested it against the Triumph Speed 400 and the RE Super Meteor. So far, I really think I made the right choice. The RE definitely sounded cooler though.
@@dalehess6265 wheelies are possible… I do them and it’s super easy now… I just had the bike for a little under a month now… I jumped from a Honda Monkey to this Eliminator… it’s been so much more fun!
If you NEED more power than this thing has, you either need to go on a diet or you dont need to be on the road. Im 5 7 165lbs and this thing will easily run at 85mph with almost no effort and cruise there all day. Havent had it faster than that, I was just testing her out but I keep her around 60mph and shes happy as a clam doing that.
@@shabutir1820 the speed limit on the interstate where I’m at is 80 she starts running out of wind up at those speeds but you’re entitled to your opinion
85 mph is pretty baseline. Thats where youre probably gonna need more power the most when traffic starts pressing you the way it does. At least in phoenix if i cant go from 85 to 100 at the drop of a hat I dont want it. Need to be able to evade assholes
@@bengonzalez5215 I guess thats all relative. That said, I havent had issues getting this bike to 85mph at all, top speed is somewhere around 110mph I believe. But, if your wanting to cruise at 85mph+ you shouldnt be looking for a bike without fairings and a large windscreen anyway in my opinion. I cruise on the highway at 65mph, I dont run on interstates. But its fine for me at those speeds, gets 55-60mpg doin it too I also dont agree that speed is the only way to "avoid assholes". Going faster than someone already going that fast will only make your eventual wipeout even worse. I watch many bikers dip and weave through interstate traffic. Iv seen them get run over doing so as well. I will take my chances in the slow lane if I need to.

@@sharkymarky7251 that’s awesome I haven’t tried any of the competitors but it’s a solid bike I’m going to check out the windshield.
Never will get bored. Such a cool and enjoyable bike to ride
@@michaelrienzo6825 it’s definitely fun
I bought an Eleminator instead of a Grom.I hope I made the right choice. I plan on learning to wheelie it.
@@dalehess6265 I think it’s a lot more bike than a Grom . Definitely more power and I think wheelies are possible on it I’m just not that good at them
@desertchris neither am I. I always seem to take things too far.
Thanks for the videos. I like your channel.

Imo its just a solid bare bones bike. Not gonna nessicarily blow your skirt up but its great for commutes
Yeah it’s a great entry level small bike but nothing more.
I had my phone mounted there, it sucks. I could never get the key in and out with the mount there.
@@johnja9017 yeah it’s kind of a pain
If you learn how to do a wheelie, how can you get bored? 😂
