I think this is "THE" bike in this category. Better than the Honda Shadow and Suzuki c50. Harley would be 2-3x as much. This thing will lay down a ton of trouble-free miles. HUGE aftermarket support for this bike. Stock they push 49hp and 56ft lb. Tune and exhaust and it's 64hp & 67ft lb. 20%+ gain and most everyone gets exhaust anyhow. Plenty of power for a cruiser!!
I'm a current owner of a 2023 HD Fatboy, and I'll tell you what. If I had the money, I'd go out and buy this very model. This is a beautiful motorcycle. Im not a typical "Harley guy." At the price of less than 10k for this bike? Oh yeah, I'd take one in a heartbeat. Great review, and you may have convinced me that I should have a Classic in my garage.
I really appreciate the respect you show the bike considering it's new and hasn't been properly broken in. So many testers rev the lights out of new bikes which is disrespectful to the person who buys it after the test ride video. Great videos, keep up the great work.
White wall tires, flowing fenders, floorboards….this bike is the motorcycle equivalent of a 50s Buick with wings!😂 What a gorgeous bike and at that price, it’s a steal! Love the heel-and-toe shifter. Love seeing inside Plano. What a great dealership! Really enjoyed seeing the Busa’s in the dealership. Thanks Ray!🙏 Great vid!
I have a 2007. Never had a bit of trouble with it. There aren’t any problems with parts availability, and most mechanics are very familiar with it. If someone wants a stereotypical cruiser they aren’t going to keep this bike long. After a couple of years they’ll trade it in for something with more “presence”. The 900 just doesn’t have the cred to impress the guys at the biker bar. But taken for what it is the 900 is a perfectly good bike, especially in the LT trim. It is a good Light Touring bike, with enough room, enough power, enough storage, and enough comfort for a two-up weekend trip. The 900 certainly doesn’t excel in any way, but it isn’t particularly annoying in any regard, either. When ridden at a moderate pace, at least. 70-75 is ok, but after 75 it one starts feeling some vibes, and the relatively high revs bother some people, although the engine handles them perfectly well. I don’t love my 900, but I like it well enough. My wife DOES love riding it as a passenger, though. After years of riding on the back of my naked and sports bikes she enjoys having plenty of room to stretch out and relax. After a 500 mile day the 900’s ability to keep my wife happy is the most important performance feature a bike can have!
You're a funny dude. Talk about people like I do when I'm puttin' around. The "food coma" Red Lobster thing was a good laugh. The Vulcan Classic is the kind of bike Harley used to make before they got greedy. This is about everything the average cruiser rider needs and it's a great blank slate bike with a load of aftermarket parts. The gearing is pretty long but the only thing Kawasaki needs to do is add a sixth. I could spend all day at a dealership like that. So many beautiful machines.
I know- i go into a Bike coma when I go in there🤣. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.. Please don't be a Stranger! You made my day with the food Coma- I had forgot all about that!
I am seriously considering getting this as my first bike after the MSF course next year. I am a heavy person and not sure a smaller bike will fit me. I sat on one at a dealer and it just felt soooo comfortable! Little conerned about the weight. I'll see what the instructors think after the course...
I think your review was good. I also think a ton of us in this price range would really like to to see and experience a vid on the much vaulted honda wide ratio gearing. Kawasaki has the spec's, HP, Tq. but it:s weight is 60 lb more than the equally long in the saber tooth as the shadow 750. I would say that would be a really good comparo. I just rode a 900 lt vulcan . good power but always working the gears, short stroke i guess. it was really almost as vibey ,more revi than i expected. Anxious , not ever relaxed. This wide ratio verbage thrown around by honda v/vtwin 750 riders and the mfg need to be concise, I think. Us guys that have no need for a big bike that just cruise at 65/75 on back roads do no not really want a short gear cruise bike. Like most of us, we watch vids alot. It seems honda has nailed the gearing for what that engine can do . Maybe a bit better than the vn900 without the weak clutch issue. The price point seems great for both. THX e mf
I think the Vulcan 900 is the perfect bike if you’re just getting back into biking or looking for a nice bike at a price that won’t break the bank, and it’s a good looking bike 👍🏽
Raymond, great video, both the bike ( that is amazingly looking) 😊 The shop amaizing. I keep saying you guys are spoilt. Man the colours you get and the prices😢. Me thinks a cruiser is in your future. A perfect, Church Choirs or Church Picinc bike. Stay safe and enjoy 😊
Thanks Les!!🙏🏻 The weather here is getting colder- the high today is 65° 🤣 , you would love to have that weather huh? Have a great weekend my friend!! And enjoy your ride to church ⛪️!!!
@RayBowdenRides Raymond it was 30c + ( @ 90f) the last couple of days here. An it going to be a typical bush fire summer . Hope your Thanksgiving was fantastic 😀. If only that 900 had ABS ... and was still imported to Australis 😪
Agreed Les, I see a cruiser in Ray’s future too! Church Choirs or Picnics, they’re perfect!😁 I joticed Ray wearing long sleeves. Must be cool in Texas. Plano is a sweet dealership. We have some nice dealership around me, but nothing that cool and large! Loved seeing the Busas inside - two of them side-by-side no less….😂
@Lowend_Chug Hi Mate 👋 Yep it must be cold. And I think Raymond's future holds a cruiser. I could spend days in that shop, we don't get anywhere near the choice of modles and colours you guys do.🤐. Those Busas do look beautiful, here we got a choise of a black ⚫️ or white. The white on is my choice. But you guys have more choices. Im sure Raymond would be a valuable addition to any Church Choir, with his enthusiasm and personality 🥰 An other day closer to your Green Hulk mate 💪
Just wow no words just wow, forget Harley, there is a new look a like bike in town, good on u kawasaki buddy great to see they r mixing it with the best.its everything u need for u cruiser,
Hey man im between a suzuki boulevard C50 and a kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic they are both in similar condition but I would like to know which one you would recommend more.
Hi from Sweden Ray, just found your channel & sent a sub, I ride a Vulcan S & started a channel around it, looking at going for its bigger brother down the line as I love these bikes, enjoyed the post , cheers & ride safe
Just as i said about the custom version at 600lbs it should have 2 rotors and 2 calipers up front. Its a 903cc anything after maybe 500cc deserves dual brakes up front in my opinion

Thanks for Commenting Paul!! I need to ride a C50 And the Vulcan Vaquero!! Thanks and Have a AWESOME weekend my friend! Don't be a Stranger 🙏🏻.
Nothing air cooled is or will ever be better than anything liquid cooled. Kawasakis biggest failure is air cooling engines
C50 is a great little cruiser
@@barrywood8838 You do realize that this is liquid cooled right? lol they do a good job of hiding that fact. It's tucked in there

I'm glad you enjoyed the review! I will have to look into doing a comparo with the Honda you mentioned.
I think the Vulcan 900 is the perfect bike if you’re just getting back into biking or looking for a nice bike at a price that won’t break the bank, and it’s a good looking bike 👍🏽
I totally agree! It's a great choice for those who want a good value and an enjoyable riding experience. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻

Thanks for subbing Steve!! The Vulcan S is so nice and underrated. How is your channel doing?? Stay in Touch Steve !!
@RayBowdenRides Thanks Ray, the channel is OK, I'm getting views , some really good, but struggling to get subs
Can you do the suzuki C50 next
I'm sure I can - let me make sure they got one!! 😉
I know this sounds petty, but I wish they would hide the tank seams. Its one of those things that I can't unsee.
True!! But when you remember what you paid for it, it's easy to 'unsee' the seams...LOL.
That's cool. We are all different. No problem with that. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
@elgar6743 thanks for being apart of this channel 🙏🏻.
Man that's pretty cool 😎
You should see it in person!! It's even better!! Have a Great day Art!!
Classic LT with the windshield. That’s the one I’m comparing and the 900 Custom. And if you could ride an Africa Twin….🤔
Let me see if they have a Classic LT, Thanks for Commenting 🐢, have a great Week my friend!!
Like your videos. Have you rode KAW CONCOURS 1400?
Not yet no. Coming though! I seen a used one in there. Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
I had a 2009 Vulcan.. Missed it, so I got a Suzuki boulevard 5k miles, $2k.
Enjoy it, Thanks for Commenting and participating in the channel! Have a great weekend my friend!!
Looks better than most HD's and costs half as much. It also twice as reliable.
Yep!! Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
Just as i said about the custom version at 600lbs it should have 2 rotors and 2 calipers up front. Its a 903cc anything after maybe 500cc deserves dual brakes up front in my opinion
That's probably true ledo!!!
Even without the discount the dealer has on this it's a great motorcycle for the price and I'm a Harley guy Lol.
Thanks for commenting and being part of the channel 🙏🏻!
Floorboards keep your feet warm... 😊
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻. Have a AWESOME weekend Al.
14:48 busa!
😂
2:35 😄😁😆😂🤣
Food coma🤣, you made me laugh my friend!!
This should have been like a 1000 or 1100 i think thats the perfect cc for the weight
Yea your probley right , but it's a AWESOME Bike just like it Sits.
Man I feel like I would look like an old fart on that bike, but I like it.
Who cares , they don't pay your bills! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
If Kawasaki would take $2,500 off of it like they did the 2016 Ninja it would be more affordable and then I would buy one
Thanks for Commenting Gary! That would be nice - but I don't see that happening. Thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
