    Although I am not the intended target for this range, I want to say I liked the presentation. I was deeply impressed by the shiny colours, they really stand out. You forgot to mention that the Flame and the 14” board (Ocean?) have kick-pads for easier step-back turns. They look like fantastic boards to get people on the water (basically, first-time buyers). I hope the durability is good so that they can sustain several years of usage. Now if only I could have got one of these instead, I would have stood out in the water and all girls’ eyes would have been on me :) thumbs up!

      The boards do look great on and off the water.

    Very useful video! I was considering to purchase the Ocean model, since I paddle mostly on lakes I was looking for something faster on flat water but without spending the money for a board designed specifically for Racing... Nice video, I hope in the future you'll post a review for every board of their range! ^___^

    I am thinking about buying my first board. Have tried supping a couple of times and luckily never fallen off. I think I would like to start touring with a bit more speed.
    In The Netherlands it’s all about the Aqua Marina Fusion, but I think the Aquatone Flame can give me that bit more speed. I am 1,89m long and weigh about 100kg.
    - Should I buy the Flame or the Fusion as a beginner?
    - If you suggest to buy the flame, should I buy the 11’6 or the 12’6 (what’s the difference for me)?
    Many thanks in advance!

      Hello and thanks for your question. If you are wanting a board for touring and more speed, definitely go for the 12'6 Aquatone Flame. You will get a faster board, good stability and the ability to carry gear for touring.
      Hope this helps.
      Thanks, Beau

      @@SUPboardermag I found a Flame of 11’6 with large discount, do you think this would work for me as well (with my weight and length)?

    I am 174 cm high and 67 kg weight and want to get aquatone sup board. Would you recommend wave 10.6 or wave 11 plus for me? Thanks

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Maja, for you both boards will feel very stable. If you want to paddle that bit further and faster the longer is best. But the 10'6 will be easier to turn. Hope this helps. Also at your weight you could go for a thinner board too. If you have time have a watch of this video to get what I mean also .. th-cam.com/video/TzIzH1AXlO8/w-d-xo.html Thanks Reuben

    Do you know how the flame compares to the Aztron urono for stiffnes, Dose the second chamber on the Aztron make a huge difference?.
    At the moment the Aztron is £140 more than the flame, so just trying to figure out if it’s worth the extra for my fat ass of 100kg?
    Thank you and very informative video.

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Daniel, The second chamber definitely helps with stiffness. In our deflection tests, at 15PSi for both boards, the Flame dropped 16mm, whilst the Urono dropped 13mm. You'll get slightly better performance out of the Urono for your weight.
      Hope this helps, Beau

    Would love to see a review of SIC's new Tao Air Glide range. SIC is a high end brand, but that's a new budget line of boards. Basically no info on them other than marketing right now.

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah we have sent SIC a poke to try and get some stuff over. So we will see. Thanks for your request. Reuben

    Hey, I’m thinking to order the Mist or the Wave 10’6 and I still don’t understand what is the difference between these two except that the Mist is mor foldable in a compact way, but is it less storage?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello and thanks for the question. The Mist will pack up a little smaller into a bag than the Wave. The Mist has more storage on the board though when paddling. Hope this helps.

    Hi! I’m choosing between an aquatone wave plus 12 and a bestway hydro force white cap 10. Which one do you think it’s better??

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Amber. We haven't used or seen any of the HF White Cap boards. But they are cheap in price, but TBH they do look a bit cheaper too. The board shapes are very different, The wave 12' will offer you much more glide (speed) and you will be able to cover more water faster too. So way better if you want to do a bit of all types of paddling including paddling that bit further. The HF will get you on the water but it maybe a board you will wish to upgrade sooner because it's slower to paddle. th-cam.com/video/k_0nNWbN9Ag/w-d-xo.html&t this video my be worth a watch too. I hope this has helped? Thanks Reuben

    How does the Aquatone Flame compare to Body Gloves, particularly their Performer 11?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kamil, The outline shape of the Body glove looks similar to the Flame but the BG has way to much rocker on the pictures I have seen! This will make the board slow to paddle and I would definitely say this would be a big negative if I reviewed this board. So I would go for the Flame. Thanks Reuben

    How is the deck pad grip on the Aquatone Flame? Is it as grippy as the ones on the Aztrons?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi James, good question. I didn't remember them being slippy at all but the Aztron does have a diamond EVA pad which unusually offers more grip. Any help? Reuben

    hi,
    Is this kind of board can use for surfing on 2 feet wave.

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could catch some small waves with these boards. They wont offer you great performance because of their thick rail shape. But for playing around on a small day they will work, yes. Thanks Reuben
