I am looking for my first board I'm 1,87cm and 87 Kg and the board will be mainly for use in the ocean in flat days, sometimes with my 26Kg kid on it. I have narrowed my choice to the aquatone wave 10'6'' (the one that I get the best price on) the Aquamarina Fusion 10'10'' (second best price) and the Aztron super nova 11'' and the aquatone wave 11'' that are more expensive. Which do you recomend is the wave 10'6'' good for my size how does it compare to the Aquamarina and Aztron boards? @SUPboarder thank you for the execlent reviews.

Thanks for the comment! The Aqua Marina Fusion 10'10 would be a great choice as it's slightly longer than the 10'6 but still offers good turning. It will also allow you to carry your kid on it. The Aquatone 10'6 is still fine too, but you might notice it becoming quite tippy with your kid on it. Hope this helps. Beau

How did the 2022 Aquatone Flame manage to bend only 12mm while weighing 10kg whereas the 2021 model @ 11kg bent 16mm?? Something is off here. The 2021 model should be more stiff being a heavier board by 1kg...?

Hey Thomas, board weight isn't the only contributing factor to stiffness - it's likely a different drop stitch material, PVC or construction method has been used to improve the deflection performance here. Cheers, Will

@@SUPboardermag That would make the new Flame easily one of the best performers on the market, and doubly so for it's price.
