Bear Down Adam!! I know your preference was not to promote TB to Head Coach (for good reasons). I was hoping for this and I think he will solidify himself as a strong candidate for next years HC. Crazy to think CW is breaking records despite this chaos!! PS- I'm glad players went off on Flus, that guy has cost this team MULTIPLE games this year. LFG!! FGB!!! Bear Down!!
@ChristSavesEveryone facts. Its a shame they put that Kramer hand off on him. That should be on Kramer alone. 5ints and no fumbles to even talk about lost fumbles for the season as a rookie is phenomenal.
I truly believe Eberlose wasn't fired earlier this season is bc nobody emerged as the interim until 3 weeks ago. TB got the upgrade to OC and he capitalized. Greener pastures are here gentlemen
Looking forward to this next stretch of Bears football. the Bears can compete with the rest of our division the players showed that. Hopefully with new coaching decision making we can start winning, would be nice to split with NFC north. Beer Down and Beer Down!!!
I really believe that we will win next Sunday. I think Brown has the ability to motivate his players the right way. By all accounts, players love his style of coaching. All head coaches know football, one thing that separates them is leadership ability. Brown has that. Time will tell about his in game management, but i know he will be better than Eberflus in this regard. I honestly can't believe Eberflus didn't lose the locker room sooner. Nobody can a respect a man that takes no personal accountability for mistakes, and doubles down on stupid decisions. I could go on and on... lol Bear Down!!
I love Braxton. Gets better every years. These stud o/line guys that are the best. Most have over 5 years of experience need to be patient. As long as they are solid and getting better, that all you can ask for in development. How does Poles look now. Drafted two solid tackles and developmental guard/centers. Give this group time
Excellent analysis Adam. Thank you. Last year at this time the word was that this would be a good year to draft Edge, Dline? Still true? I don’t see a lot of killer LB’s, maybe a money signing?. And we need some aggressive help at Safety. The RB, a big C with anchor, big Guard and a Tackle to compete. Great news that Warren is becoming active with HC at end of season. I’m all in on Brown if he can pull this off. Either way it’s fun to cleanly cheer for the wins now.
Year one (2022) was blowing up the team (no draft picks, tons of dead cap), like blowing up an old casino in Vegas, if you look at it like that, this is only year 2 of the rebuild...realistically the Superbowl window really opens in 2026 if the right moves are made, and if Caleb enters Mahomes territory.
Dawn of a new age dawning, Firing Eberflus Was crucial and keeping continuity with Thomas Brown. Now. If team responds to Brown he stays Coach. If so , let the New Head Coach bring in his own Staff. If not then we need a new Coach Search glad Warren will be leading search. Poles didn't fire Eberflus last year so he shouldn't lead anything and failed to establish an O and D Line. Go Caleb! Go Bears!
Only reason I can think of hiring Flus in the first place is to help facilitate the tank and the #1 pick with the least qualified candidate. Who’ll lose you the most games? Caldwell Quinn or Flus?
Ashton jeanty's yards before contact is whats most alarming. He a bigger product of his offensive line than he is his own effort. I like him but i dont day 1 or 2 like him.
I Love Tevin but he is Mr Glass I can not pay him a full salary for missing 4 to 6 games EVERY year. Let him walk and hopefully he can stay healthy for his new team
@@Beardownsports He wont get a team friendly deal some moron will sign him to big money...... if people knew what people were doing Montana doesnt get to round 3 Brady never sees round 6and numerous hall of famer's do not come from undrafted.... but yes in that slice of reality sure but you seen enough football to know someone always thinks they are the smartest gm of all time......
Still disagree with you Adam. We have the skill players (minus RB at the moment) to be a dominate offense in the league. The consistency of C and G have been atrocious. "When our starters are healthy" which they never are. Jenkins could be a dominate G but he's always hurt. Matt Pryor was a massive upgrade over Davis and that simply brought the play of RG up to average. Braxton is playing ok, so is Wright. We need the best Center in the draft, an above average Guard on FA and a good 3rd round G. But until they get real about OLine scheme and get a better OLine coach then it's all for naught. If the 1st round D line prospect is a guaranteed stud, I get why he would be selected. But do we want a dominate Defense or an Offense that can impose it's will? I want offense.
No sacks, no hits, no hurries is BS ... I would bet money whomever is doing these stats isn't watching the bears games. He's always in Caleb's lap all you have to do is bull rush him! Braxton Jones is a backup at best at this point! Hell outside of Jenkins and Wright none of them should be starting... On the other hand that defensive line is out performing the O-LINE by a billion it ain't even close! Caleb just make them look half way decent! Look at Gervon Dexter's stats and Jalen Carter's tell me who's performing better?!
That O Line is an injury away from being BAD not average. Bears O Line has given up 49 SACKS this year to LEAD the NFL ! Cleveland has given up 47 in 2nd place. Of the TOP 6 teams in SACKS given up only the Texans at 40 are above a .500 % winning percentage. Next are the Titans / Raiders / Patriots ! What do these teams have in common ? The Worst LOSING records in the NFL ! The Jaguars / Bengals & Jets are bucking the trend with least sacks given up but BAD winning %. Sorry Adam to me its a continuation of a problem seen last year. The 2 QBs CW / JF are also the better QBs to escape a pass rush. Can you imagine if CW had the movement of Jared Goff ? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The fact OC / HC Thomas Brown has gotten CW to get the ball out quicker is a great improvement. These 3 divisional games should have all ended with Wins not Loses that is the bright side. What CW really brings to the 2nd half Offense is a great ability to lead the team being down in all these games where the defense knows 90% of these will be passing plays. The 1st half Offense needs Big improvement so they don't have to being in desperation mode in the 3rd & 4th quarters.
This is the epitome of the misinformation spreading around. Over half the sacks on the Bears are on their rookie QB. (I don't dislike Caleb) But context is important. Unaccredited sacks to linemen shouldn't be blamed on the line (and they aren't) "Can you imagine if Caleb got rid of the ball like Jared Goff?" And he will, it just takes time for a rookie. The narratives on this line are crazy. Absolutely bizarre. Put proper blame where it's due
@@Beardownsports Adam , its not misinformation to state the facts. Bears O Line has given up a NFL Worst 49 sacks / with 331 sack yards. It probably should be even more if he wasn't so slippery in the pocket. Calling this patchwork of O Lineman average is just not seeing the forest for the trees. The running game against our division rivals is not there either. The RBs Swift / Johnson are not getting good average / carry. In fact they are at the bottom of the NFL. Against the better D Lines like the ones in our division the O Line struggles to make holes. 3.5 yds/carry for Swift & 2.9 yds/carry with Johnson is not a running game ( Lions game stats ). The patsy teams Bears had in the beginning are gone but those stats are in the books. Your putting lipstick on the pig O Line & using cherry picked stats as makeup. I don't disagree the D Line needs help too. 49 Sacks given up is NFL Worst. 331 Sack yards also NFL Worst by a LOT !
If Tevin leaves the Bears need 2 Guards...and you do not want to start 2 rookie guards, so 1 has to be a free agent.
He made the argument for us

He's a leader from everything we hear.
I just hope Caleb stays the focus, but I'm excited to see what TB can do
Agreed!
Thanks Adam for all the content. Wishing you and your Family a safe happy holiday season!
Calab Williams and the Chicago Bears have a breakout game. 49ers 21 Bears 35.
My biggest fear drafting caleb was his fumbling in college. All season, i think he os credited with 1 fumble, the kramer hand off.
Yeah, he's protected the ball very well
I was thinking about this the other day too. That was one of his biggest criticisms and yet he’s been perfect.
@ChristSavesEveryone facts. Its a shame they put that Kramer hand off on him. That should be on Kramer alone. 5ints and no fumbles to even talk about lost fumbles for the season as a rookie is phenomenal.
Me too, I’ve been impressed. He did have the one vs the Colts

This is absolutely the class for DT/Edge

I would pick up one of the Henderson or Judkins in the late 2nd or 3rd round.
Great stuff Mason thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

Ben Johnson will be our next head coach in 2025 im so hyped
I wouldn't bet on it
Nah he don’t have any head coach experience im over giving guys there first start
Hard no on Johnson... no more rookies for hc
@ it’s not about what y’all want tho it’s what Caleb wants 🤡s not talking about you Adam
Johnson is overrated, if he had common sense and stuck to the run the second half on Thanksgiving they would have won by thirty

Adam, Connor Williams abruptly retired two weeks ago. Do you think he "unretires" at some point?
No.
His injury clearly has him wanting to be on the couch. I'm out on Williams
Doubtful, seems he lost faith in himself.
Ashton jeanty's yards before contact is whats most alarming. He a bigger product of his offensive line than he is his own effort. I like him but i dont day 1 or 2 like him.
I wonder how much the player choices were Erbflus and Waldrons fault?
Larry Borom should never play another snap in the NFL!!!!
I am hoping Kiran Amegagie can get some snaps before the season ends
Awesome
Cole Kmet hurt the Bears last game with those two offensive pass imterference calls last game..They both negated big plays
Yeah, very undisciplined
There will be growing pains as we develop an actual NFL offense though.
TB needs to clean that up
I Love Tevin but he is Mr Glass I can not pay him a full salary for missing 4 to 6 games EVERY year. Let him walk and hopefully he can stay healthy for his new team
On a team friendly contract you absolutely sign him and still bring in depth

Flus lost the locker room long ago !! Brown goes 4-1 to close out including a win in GB ? 2025 Bears coach Thomas Brown !
Kaleb Johnson is the rb to draft,I think
I'm a fan for sure!
I hope the new couch stand in can win 3 division games
Right now, that would be huge! Win these final 3 divisional games against 3 teams likely headed to the playoffs.

That's it!!
The reason we suck is the defensive line.
