Want to label a country with a different name, perhaps in your own language? That's very simple. All you need to do is enter what you want the label to be in between single quotes in the Value box towards the top of the window in the Labels section of Layer Properties - e.g. 'United Kingdom'.
Here's the final geometry generator expressions used in the video for the filtered country layer:
densify_by_count( buffer(bounds($geometry),2,10,'flat','miter'),100)
