I bought a black one in 1974 for £10. I was a student at the time and used it to travel to my training college. Back in those days, young people would paint large flowers and ban the bomb symbols on them.

Hi Simon, Just found your channel an absolute pleasure to watch, got a Matchbox model one of these at the Kelmarsh Morris Minor event a few years back and now have a Matchbox new model of one convertible and looking for the saloon, also see you race Scalextric, I started my Scalextric journey in 1975 and now must get the car's running again and now build styrofoam buildings for my models as no longer drive classics though years back had a fair few Rover V8s P5,P6,SD1 even a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air 4.
