    Well done again Mr Hills. Another good hike. I walked through a over growing path like that once it was full of nettles had to put the dog on my shoulders lol. Good views from the hills. Good luck. Steve.

      lol that would be funny to see a dogs head peaking over the bracken on 2 legs I'd start running.

      "jungle" is even an understatement, there is no word to describe that route.

    Bet you won't take the path through the bracken again! Great video...can't wait for the next episode. Who is it that keeps giving a "thumbs down"? Bet he (or she) won't admit it. Cheers.

      It's probably a member of the mountain bothy association. Certain folk don't like me showing off bothies on TH-cam.

    • @chrisfishwick322
      @chrisfishwick322 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hfthscot I doubt that! Not many members would do that. Although it seems you are now a convert yourself to "bothying" As your previous videos showed you was adverse to them. When convenient you now use them. ;-))

      @@chrisfishwick322 i sometimes use bothys if need be but i prefer my wee tent sometimes If I'm slone. i appreciate bothys very much though.

    Hey mate. Sympathise about the sore shoulders. Nothing worse. Don't know if the Teahouse was worth the diversion. Cracking scenery as usual. Hilarious when you lost it about the camera. You do cheer me up. Keep going. ATB. 😉

    • @hfthscot
      @hfthscot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The first three days are always the hardest when the pack is still heavy. The Teahouse was worth a look. The riverside path however was not!

    Glad you liked our campsite in Kinlochewe.We can accom 5 backpacker sized tents( either walk-in or by bike). You can phone to book at no cost and we will reserve a spot
    The Managers are both keen high altitude mountain walkers and understand what's needed
    If you want to risk just rocking up we will do our best to find u a spot on soft grass
    See you in 2019

    Another good video mate, the over grown path looked hard going lol.

      Oh it was believe me but would be a good place to go stealth camping though

    I get sore shoulders as well, the padding is rubbish on my bigger pack.
    That bracken looked brutal, get any ticks that day? 😲
    What are the wee juice things called? They got sweeteners in them?

    • @hfthscot
      @hfthscot  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahoj Brause - I think they have sweetener it's written in German unfort, definitely have sugar and sherbet. TBH they are really not good for you drink at your own risk... like I did. :-O 😲 No ticks that day suprisingly but it really was awful, worse than it looked in the video.

    I enjoyed watching these. Are you walking the trail in all one go. Or doing sections every do often. Very impressive. Take care Cheers Karl

    • @hfthscot
      @hfthscot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, I like the thought of walking it all in one go, but I think I would get fed up alone and would miss my home comforts too much. Plus I live in Scotland so what's the point. I usually manage about 5-6 days at a time, on this occasion it was 9 days as I had 2 nights in the Glen Shiel area before I set off. Thanks for watching.
