This 1940's Themed Brewery in Kent Serves an Excellent Fried Chicken Sando

The Westerham Brewery Company in Kent opened in 2004 to produce quality craft beers for the local market. They use the local water that flows North of Westerham, hops sourced from Kent and the same yeast strains and recipes that were in use during World War Two. I learned that the Spitfires that were then based at the nearby Biggin Hill airfield were used to carry Westerham beer stored in extra fuel tanks to the British soldiers in France. I visited the brewery restaurant for a Saturday lunch and tried one of their crispy fried chicken sandos.
