Hey guys, just wanted to clear up that I didn’t leave any online reviews. I only did the 5* review in the video for entertaining purposes where I also show the full picture. No one is being misled don’t worry :)
@@yunichairani2117 for the video, she wanted to find something nice to say and give them five stars. but not on an actual review site, yes. because that would be good for the algorithm and misleading for many people not knowing the area.

I don't understand the logic behind being nice to a bad place? People work hard for their money as well! They want to spend ot on something good and rewarding!! Giving those scammers a 5 stars is nothing but enabling bad businesses to keep going
I'll echo that, I think it's really dishonest of these TH-camrs to specifically aim to give 5 star reviews to these places. Give honest ones with a goal of 5 star if it really was that, but don't force a 5 star rating if it really wasn't. Not just at Taz, but other TH-camrs like Ryan Trahan too. However any comment on his videos will get drowned in the masses.
Whilst I understand the 'nice' intention of leaving good reviews - these places don't deserve good reviews if the food is truly that awful you're just going to cause more people to go to these places that frankly shouldnt be open and cause more bad reviews and unhappy people in the long run
Exactly, people are too soft nowdays and it isn't a nice intention it's actually a stupid intention to leave a 5 star review in a place you didn't enjoy. People pleasing at its finest, so dumb. People need to know the truth of bad places

Honestly the wrong order in the first café that they brought out looked so much better than what you guys got in the end. Love your videos Taz! Always a source of comfort for me ❤️
I think the moral of the story is to stay away from uber touristy areas to eat! These places don't need repeat business - they survive off of tired and bewildered tourists wandering in and paying their exorbitant prices (for the quality of their food and service).
This is unfortunately how it goes, there's a enough places near me that have horrible food but they thrive because people need a quick bite. Like at the train station there's only bad food places but I end up buying food there anyway cause they are the only options and I'm busy
U guys must be talking abt the taj mahal tandoori. I wouldn't even eat there for free I think that scumbag just collects leftover food from other restaurants and microwaves them and charging rip off prices
Things like lasagna are never made from scratch in 10min, however, it doesn't mean it's not made from scratch. A lot of restaurant kitchens will get various items almost there and then finish them when an order comes in. That's also why some of the items may be out, especially later in the evening, because what was prepped for the day was completely used up and there literally isn't any left. It's also the same reason some restaurants make you order ahead for some menu items because the prep and cook times don't make it reasonable to make for immediate service
The prices are absolutely WILD! Like I know it’s central London and tourist spots but WOW 😅 You really took one for the team here Taz - I’m not sure I “enjoyed” watching it because I felt so bad for you, but was absolutely entertaining 🤣 xx
Yeah I’m in London and eaten in some really good places for a lot less. You can get unlimited sushi and tempura for £17.50 at gauthier in January for a start.
Only been to the UK once, but the number of times I received food that tasted like a reheated frozen meal was more than I can count on just one hand. I never understood the US's obsession with chain restaurants until I ate food at random places in the UK.
If you have dietary stuff like not eating pork and they serve you sausage and bacon, that's pretty bad. I can't imagine having food alergies. Ordering in restaurants already gives me anxiety, so I don't think I'd go near those places.
Wow you’ve really put yourself out there for our entertainment in this one Taz! The Italian looked the best of the lot but still dodgy. These places obv rely on tourist who go in once blind and not repeat custom
Tbh i hate the fact that tazz rated these restaurants as 5 stars, if you are uncomfortable with these things either just don't give a review or simply just don't put such content. Many people look at just review stars chart instead of reading whole comment. Ps none of these places deserve more than 0.5 stars honestly.

10:20 lasagna is never made from scratch in a restaurant unless you want to wait around for like 2 hours. Usually it’s premade and chilled then the chef will take a slice and dress it and cook it in the broiler very quickly
It is very brave to eat in any of these places. To pay silly prices for edible food is one thing, but to pay for inedible food is just ridiculous and these places should shut down. Those cookies have probably been there for a year as there is no way of knowing. I hope you and your friend weren't ill.

Hey Taz! An Italian here. Just wanted to say something about the lasagna (which looked horrible btw). 10:15 Even here in Italy if you order it at a restaurant it wouldn’t be “freshly” made, as in they don’t make it when you order it unless you want to wait 40 or more minutes. Usually you’d make a tray before (or in their case maybe single portions already) service, and give it the last few minutes of baking when the customer orders it. That said, that one probably wasn’t freshly made that morning, but rather days ago or even frozen since who knows when
I was thinking the same thing. Idk if I've ever seen her make lasagna before so maybe she doesn't realize how long it takes. My son is actually in Italy with his dad & other mom right now & I'm so jealous but they're sending me lots of beautiful pictures. I do have a question for you. I am definitely not Italian but I really love to cook & when I make lasagna something I absolutely cannot compromise on is the pasta. I really do not like the typical supermarket no boil noodles, they don't get thick enough or have that lovely al dente bite so I don't use them, they also suck up way too much sauce & we spend a lot of time making & canning that sauce so I don't want to have to use double because of crap pasta. If I plan ahead I'll order fresh lasagna sheets because, well that's the best & there is absolutely nowhere to buy them in my area but if I don't have that as an option I look for a slow dried boil option, do you have a brand you recommend for dried lasagna pasta or any other recommendation, tips etc. I live in the United States in WA state, the Pacific Northwest
Hihii, I'm Italian and my uncle used to run a lasagna restaurant (till he passed) and I'm just gonna tell you how they did it. They would prepare insane amounts of lasagna from scratch, to last a week lets say (the pasta, sauce, meat... you name it) they would ensamble, cook and freeze and it tasted absolutely delicious. Not saying I know how that london restaurant works but lasagna can be made from scratch and frozen and it'd take like 10 minutes to heat up without it being a scam.

The variety of dishes is impressive, I liked the dishes and the presentation of the video
🙂You are a breath of fresh air!
OMG i think i went to the taj mahal restaurant a few years ago. When we went in the place was CROWDEDDDD. my mom was about to walk out to find somewhere else but the guy INSISTED we stay and took us down to the basement. We ate right next to the toilets and it was HORRIBLE. We left very quickly after that.
16:26 nope wouldn’t be leaving a place a 5 star review that doesn’t deserve it 😬 the places need to raise their standards
The last restaurant’s receipt reads as follows (if anyone is interested to know)
1 chicken tikka
1 sheesh kebab
1 chicken tikka masala
2 s.p.r (I’m assuming this is the rice)
2 butter naan
I wouldn't even eat in that shithole for free never mind pay for that microwaved crap whatever u call it
i love your inspiration from Ryan, i love his videos so much 😂
legit scared for Taz in this video 😅
I missed you 😍 binging now
Omg my husband worked in that pizza restaurant, it’s really bad. Even the owner doesn’t pay money to his employees. My husband had to leave after a month.
