Hi there, could you maybe tell me where you sourced the rubber connecting pipes from? Do they help or prevent icing between the carb and the cylinders? Thank you.
Hi. That's just what I had at the moment. Use original flat pipes or something like that. To prevent ice, I connected 4mm nipple to exhaust pipe. So warm exhaust goes through 4mm connection to air filter and its all it needs to prevent ice building
Can't say it's more economical. It's still a big weber 😉. But I changed diff to 9/35 (8/37 orginal) and now the engine is calm. First gear is "longer" and top speed is now 104km with GPS
@@tompabompa2166 obviously if you change the gear ratio of the final drive gear behavior will change also. But if your final drive s changed into a higher gearing and the engine isn't bogging down in any way then the carb must be responsible for that making the engine to deliver more torque or the same torque at lower rpm...
BOOPIE DISTURA cant really say sence im driving both with and without the sidecar but it is better. i did needed to go down on main and idle jets alot. I got more effect of the engine now. sparkplugs are brown and not black as before and i top around100km/h with sidecar on (depending on weather 🙄).
BOOPIE DISTURA . my new movie with microprocessor ignition , check it out. i got probs with old ignition. Engine runs faster with weber and i think thats why my breakers distance got smaller when i pushed engine to top. So i install the contactless ignition now.
Is the pulsating air stream in the manifold beneficiary to fill the cylinders?

I was thinking of bolting on a 2cv carb on a plate which sits in the location the original air leaner sits...
