Everyone sounds great! But Judas Priest. The Metal Gods. Showing everyone how it's done. God, I love this band. In 1976 they were playing with Led Zeppelin not far from there. That just blows my mind. But here? Today? They sound outstanding.
Loving your capture of Priest's performance! I was at the show myself, and filming the set for my own vlog. Priest totally killed it! Yours is definitely the best footage of the set compared to other vids I've seen.
I went to KK's Priest earlier that week before driving out to Aftershock. KK's Priest and Judas Priest are neck and neck right now in terms of songwriting and live performance. However, Iron Maiden continues to break my heart. (I know he had a mini stroke and other health problems but having said that) Nicko can't play "Caught Somewhere In Time". Instead of the dribbling single pedal triplets he does on the studio version, he's doing lazy single pedal double kicks and relying mostly on conserving as much energy as possible. None of the proper fills. So his quality of performances live is now dependent on the tempo or bpm of the songs. This is why he nailed "Stranger In A Strange Land" immediately after. They keep rolling him out there knowing the band is having to compensate for this weakness. Another thing is, and I counted this to make sure, they played 5 songs from SIT and 5 songs from Senjetsu. 50/50 isn't necessarily 50/50. I added the minutes of the songs they played from SIT and the minutes of the songs they played from Senjetsu. 39 Minutes of Senjetsu music and 34 minutes of SIT music. In the the five minutes of filler that Senjetsu took up, they could have played Deja Vu, Judas Be My Guide, Number of the Beast, Run To the Hills, The Mercenary, Rainmaker, or Different Worlds. But the Maiden fanboys will defend 11 minute Senjetsu songs being put in a setlist where 97% of the audience wanted to hear SIT songs. They could have taken out one of those 10-11 minute Senjetsu songs and replaced it with Hallowed Be Thy Name, which is now legally ok for Iron Maiden to play again. I'll never do another festival again. Unless it's ICED EARTH or Nightwish reunited with Tarja, pass.
Great footage. What did you use to record? I’m 58 and used to love Judas Priest but it’s hard to watch Rob struggling. It doesn’t even look like he was singing multiple times. Look when he’s doing sinner. That is not his live voice. On the other hand I love maiden more than ever and they move around better than I do and they’re all quite a bit older! I appreciated seeing the priest shots.

@@CrazyDaisysAdventures cool! I just got the 16 and apparently I don’t know how to take good videos lol
Priest sounds find the sound guy needs help
Bruce has lost nothing from his voice. What an amazing band Iron Maiden is. And to think, it all belongs to Steve Harris, its his band.
I saw Priest. They sounded OK, but I was worried about Rob Halford. He did his thing, but he didn't look well.
The band is louder than mic it seems
Shout out to our brother AARON LEWIS! 👍✌️❤️💪🇺🇸 MAGA ROCKERS RULE!!! woke wimps suck ass!! No matter who you are!!!
