    Que maravilla de trabajo. Ese cariño por el oficio se está perdiendo hoy en día.

    Now that's a very nice piece of work. WRT the laser cut discs, given their size and the amount of material removed when cutting, do you have to build in a tolerance in size to compensate for the loss by laser (hope this makes sense)?

      @@BruceRobinson-tz8cj There is an offset detail in the software if you want it really accurate.

    Good tip re: the Acrylic paint resist, thank you. Did the U/S cleaner manage to remove that residue too?

      It does not remove the paint.

    I like the trick of piercing sheet brass with a needle for setting the jet size! I have only used commercially available burners (just made for camping) and those that can run on multiple fuels come with chunky solid brass jets in fixed sizes for diesel/gasoline/propane/alcohol. I would like to experiment with arbitrary jet sizes to get a gentler flame, but didn't have a method for making holes that small through 3mm of brass. You got a nice gentle flame, nothing like the near blow-torch torrent I get.
    How thick is the brass you used for the jet?

      Brass disc is 0.005" thick. I have used discs made from drinks cans before and made with a hole punch.

    Thanks, do you find the hydrostatic cleaner gets rid of the easyflo flux , just in water and how long would it need to be in there please.

    • @myfordboy
      @myfordboy  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@grahammorgan9635 Yes it removes the flux in a couple of minutes, no need for acid pickle.

    I made a similar burner but it does not burn properly inside a boiler. I suspect there is something wrong with the air/gas mixture (too much gas, maybe)? Have you experienced this?

    • @myfordboy
      @myfordboy  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There is room for experiment.
      One I made for a 15mm flue worked best with alternating holes and slots. Some versions I have added a sleeve to reduce the air. A good burner may not work well outside the flue.

    Great job , Wy 28,2 degrees ?

      I calculated this would evenly space the holes.
