This is oversimplified. Asking clarifying questions is good, but there should be a minimal amount of time spent asking clarifying questions. Instead you should provide assumptions and ask if they can be validated by the interviewer. Why make the interviewer do extra work? Instead show initiative and experience, especially in higher level product role interviews.

Hi @taeghsokhey5310 thank you! Yes you are right, in more videos I am creating for my own TH-cam channel, I am making this distinction of making logical assumptions instead of just asking the interviewer. When I am coaching clients too, I encourage them to take the lead in an interview instead of letting the interview just lead it. This helps with landing Sr PM and Group PM roles, since you demonstrate you can work through a problem independently. These videos were created with the target audience of aspiring and new PMs in mind initially, hence the somewhat oversimplified approach, but I totally agree with you :)

This is very very helpful, I would like to know if you have a course or if you teach product managements, as almost always PM courses share the same knowledge but in this 5 min video I was able to gain knowledge that I literally didn't gain in 2 hours course.
    THANK YOU

I would rather ask PM about their past project, what’s their approach, and how they measure success rather than those type of questions.
