Steve said that people had asked HIM about the "Wheelin' down the freeway" "Hell on wheels" song and he didn't know who did it, wished he did, but just didn't know. "Taking Off" by Killer, go figure. So i searched around and found a message board. One of the band members of the band Killler (with 3 Ls) claims to have recorded this song near the parking lot were Cheech is stealing gas. He said it was for the soundtrack but got scrubbed because the movie went over budget. He never replied to any other comments.
