After people showed up, he had them enter one by one, where he would sit them down, and do a "silent vibe check" on the person before deciding on what they'd look best in, and just... giving it to them Here's how I take the song: clothes- they can change SO MUCH in terms of how you feel, confidence wise etc. and I think the point of the song is that Porter wants to, and wants people to reach that state of mind, the confidence of being in those brand new clothes, of having those fixed teeth, without having to do or have any of those things (as doing it that way *always* comes with regrets). Just being able to naturally generate that unbridled confidence that material things can give.

I just listened to SABAI’s new album and it blew me away…. It was AMAZING. It’s my new album of the year right now and I think you should DEFINITELY give it a listen and review even maybe! I think it’s a really good example of great album construction and the importance of the flow, impact and meaning it has from song to song.
