if you want to increase the spead of closing, try having two sets of golumns that push the falling snow in line. then you can go up as many times as you desire, same way mega tnt canons are made
@onrey Yeah, and realistically, cobble, redstone, iron, wood, snow, all very cheap. And at large enough scale, most people would have a slime farm. So a tileable design would allow people to make it is big and fast as they can be bothered

Yes, that’s a great idea! It’ll make it basically twice as expensive and a bit more laggy, but yes, that’ll make it twice as fast!

If the block pushing the snow entity is replaced by slime, it creates a snow catapult.
