How to harvest Lettuce | tips for beginners |

when and how to harvest lettuce leaves when they grow to about 3 to 6 inches long, depending on the variety.
I always cut the big leaves so the plant uses the energy on the smaller Leaves.

I've managed to pent a dozen plants in that size pot. The leaves are s it smaller but more or less the same. Can see in my video but it works!
He's right, cut and come again with a lot of leafy greens

So my lettuce stalk got a little tall should I cut it down or just leave it.

It's probably Bolting! happens when the plant has matured and reaches the end of its life cycle... If you see the lettuce leaves or smaller and loosen their color is basically the end. Sorry.. lettuce grows better in early spring and early fall 🌱

I always try to reply to everyone.. so space you let us plant about 3 to 4 in apart. They don't need full sun and the one thing that lettuce needs a lot is water... Did you plant in containers or in ground??

awesome ,water every 2-3 days in the morning time .. when the leaves are about 4-6inches you could start harvesting ( break off or cut out ) the plant will keep growing new leaves ... any question let me know ..

@@Greentgarden I probably should have said this in the beginning but, recently I've moved into a farm town if that makes sense and the only jobs here are farm jobs however I have no experience and I found a job were I have to cut lettuce and cabbage I've just been watching this types of videos so when I turn up I don't look like an idiot
