Who just happens to have pickles in their car? The style is suppose to be nonsexual and cute. Compared to what I've seen in fashion, Lolita is very innocent.

people honestly cause problems for people who dress this way?.. I do not see anything wrong with it.. its kind of an old fashioned way of dressing.. cant be any worse than any other person who dresses in retro cloths.. so they like the dresses that is inspired by the classic Gothic era of fashion.. why is that a problem for some people?.. I live in the USA tho.. Here in Iowa there is a shop that will sometimes sell some authentic classic Gothic dresses that kind of remind me of what they wear here.. they can be super expensive tho as these are usually collectors items.. but sometimes people like to buy them to wear.. super cute.. I kinda wish I could wear something like that occasionally..
maybe its the city i live in or something but the people here in California are huge huge bashers of anything out of the ordinary. Basically anything that is not "normal." They will yell hateful things out their windows and sometimes throw things out the windows at me. Even when i goto San Francisco and go over to Japan town people act like I'm alien staring and pointing, it makes me wanna run away and cry T_T I need to goto one of the Lolita meets in San Francisco. Lolita isn't a common fashion here in the Philippines that's why it's always been mistaken to be a costume and not fashion. Some people think it's childlish. That's the reason why I wanted to live in Japan. You can express your fashion freely without being judged by the community.
It makes me laugh when everyone says that people should wear what they want without being hated for it, but then the moment one person decides to dress in a way that is seen as slightly different, everyone suddenly turns round and bites them on the arse for it. This is really well done. I have to say though, about how the girl said that brand is so important in Lolita... You can sew excellent Lolita dresses and even put together a Lolita outfit from off-brand clothing. I've seen so many beautiful things that girls have made themselves. Brand is lovely and all, but not important.
Just ordered my first lolita outfit! Been wanting to do this for a long time. I'm just worried about how my family's going to react. They're pretty close-minded. We went to the mall where a group of 10+ furries were hanging out, just having a good time, and my family was making fun of them in private and trying to get me to subtly take pictures of the feat. I was intrigued by the furries, I will admit, but I wouldn't want to make fun of them or invade their privacy. :c Now my lolita dress is in its way and I don't know how I'm going to "come out" to them. I tried to carefully introduce the concept of lolita to my grandma just now, but she says it's "weird, not normal, and a desperate plea for attention by vain people who aren't mentally stable". I swear, the public eye will probably be more accepting of my new style than my family at first. I won't let that stop me, because I'm tired of letting the opinions of others steer how I act and dress. I WANT TO BE A PRETTY PRINCESS, DAMN IT.
ZeppieDragon Oh, pfftt, sorry, late reply. Yes, I did! I have gotten a couple of dresses since I first wrote that comment. I really, really love the fashion! ;o;
I just got my first lolita skirt too. nothing much else but I have stuff to go with it. My mum loved the skirt so much and I'm sure she'll buy me more. I went out in it for the first time and nobody said anything at all. The last time I went out in it I got stared at by a group of girls who looked like hookers. I felt really stupid but I just got to keep going out in. it I think this fashion will take over some day!
I get called a skank and a slag and yet the people who call me that know I'm a virgin and forever accuse me of never going out. if i dont go out how can I do stuff to make me a slag? and a fat slag, by a fat girl :/
I'm a 12 year old OTT sweet lolita, which is totally crazy and frilly and pink, and I live in Ohio, which is the most conservative state in America, and I never get teased. You just have to carry yourself with confidence, and give anyone who disses you or makes fun of you the cutest, most doll-like glare in the world and say "love you too!" Try getting on Livejournal or attending cons to meet other lolitas, and just have fun! I know how it feels to be a beginner lolita, but just have fun!
Lolita is literally the most un-provocative so I just don't understand why people think it is. Somehow society has shifted and to be almost completely covered (in cute lace and ruffles if I may add ;3 ) is considered skanky and yet girls in tube tops and booty shorts with high heals and globs of make up is "normal" and acceptable...So sad. I don't get it but I won't let that stop be from making my transition into Lolita this coming year. ^_^
You really don't need to throw girls who wear revealing clothes under the bus because it defeats the point you're trying to make and they can wear whatever they want, just like you.
@Ubi: It's not throwing them under the bus to admit that revealing clothes are sexy. You generally wear them to feel said sexiness, and that's totally cool and fine. It's just strange when high-coverage styles are sexualized, considering they're usually worn for the purpose of modesty. Imagine if people came up to a group of nuns, took shady pics, and accused them of being religious fetishists -- it's nonsensical. Most people understand that there is a difference between porn, costumes, kinksters, and actual nuns, but those distinctions seem to be ignored when it comes to lolita fashion.
Words aren't kind, throwing things is assault. More over, as a man, I'm wondering how that would possibly increase your chances of finding a mate. Seems to me that if someone's throwing a pickle over what someone's wearing that they have some fairly major issues with reality.
Lolita has made me happy! I use to think flat faces where ugly!! 😄 people said I was ugly, but this fashion has opened my eyes! I look like a doll, (sort of) so I know I'm not ugly! I'm pretty! 😀 (yay) 😂 😅😅😥😓😩😋
Yeah it makes me happy to look at and I got my first lolita skirt recently so I'm very happy with it. It's so beautiful. I've worn it out a few times and felt very cute and pretty but like i stood out too much
I'Ve always wanted to have some sort of a Lolita blog. I'm not a Lolita myself but I'm just so fascinated with the culture and I find it absolutely elegant and beautiful. I have so much respect for Lolitas cause its like you guys are so passionate in what you guys do, and even if people give you shit about it, its like you guys don't care cause your doing something you love. ❤
It really upsets me that these girls get so much shit for dressing the way that they do. I understand that for these ladies it's a lifestyle, but come on people it's "just" clothes! Why is that so offensive? If we just stop putting each other down the world will be a much happier place. You ladies are lovely!
Omg I know right? It's not like they going around naked, if they were going around without any clothes on I could understand the abuse, even I'd shout abuse at people naked in the streets or out shopping, but they are wearing beautiful clothes, why would that invoke insults and nastiness? If I saw people dressed like this I'd just want to join them.
Why in the world would people call lollita 'slutty', I see it might be causing some problems with finding a job and stuff, but it's a just clothingsstyle(/maybe a lifestyle for some people) And I think it's just bullshit that people take it as an offensive. Society needs to take a chillpill, dang!
OneWingDown No, it does not mean a 12 year old prostitute, or anything sexual at all. It is both a nickname for girls with sweet faces and girls named "Dolores", and a play on the Japanese term "Loli", which means a young girl, or a Lolita.
Latiastuff I don't know why lolitas always try so hard to explain away the origin of the name, because you really can't. The word loli comes from lolicon which comes from lolita complex, which is named in reference to the Nabokov's Lolita and pertains to those who are sexually attracted to young girls. Hence, loli/lolita are both terms used to describe a sexually attractive young girl. Now modern lolita *fashion* of course has nothing to do with wanting to appear "sexy" and everything to do with ladies (and some gents) wanting to wear bows and frills and poofy dresses on their own merits because they like the aesthetic. However you cannot deny that A) thanks to the childlike elements and Japan's idea of "kawaii" vs more western "sexy" lolita fashion almost undoubtedly originally got its name from the novel and or/the term and B) the word lolita will always have connotations with sex and paedophilia for most people. Trying to say otherwise makes you look like a naive kid and doesn't help your argument any.
Linda I feel super confident and pretty and cute in it and im 27! I'm getting older now and need to wear it more often soon before I get too old. I dont think it matters if i wore it into my 30s tho people'd like it. Earandil: I have an idea of what boys can wear: they can wear victorian style/lolita men's clothes but with lots of ruffles and purples and blacks and stuff. They can still dress like this but in pants. I have a manly lolita outfit with a tail coat with details and corset style back lace up and some stripey pants
Try looking through your local Thrift shop. You would be surprised by what you could find in there. also there are plenty of DIYs on TH-cam on how to make Lolita skirts and accessories and a lot of them are super easy to make. some don't even require sewing!
i'm not a lolita , but i had cosplayed in some puffy dresses . i don't understand how people can be so angry at nothing , i mean puffy dresses are covering most of the body if not than there are also probably extras like a little coat and long socks , i just don't see how people would think it's some kind of perverted desire too , because who would be dressed like a little girl [
Hi my name is Harmony I am just starting Lolita. For a while now my parents were irritated that I would wear my cosplay in public and one of my friends Grace introduced me to Lolita fashion and basically explained to me it was a cute fashion that would get my parents off my back. So I bought a couple dresses from hot topic because at the time I didn't have very much money and my parents are more excepting of the fashion then my cosplay. Well at the beginning of my pregnancy I could still wear some cosplay until they eventually didn't fit and then my cosplay and anime stuff was either stolen or lost in the mail. It actually has been a few weeks since that happened and I am trying to keep strong and keep my self above water but I now won't be able to do what I want to do. I am having a little girl in May and what actually makes me sad is I won't be able to give her college unless I can get patterns and sewing stuff. Thank you for the inspiration and I hope your all doing well.
I'm glad that lolita fashion is gaining more recognition and support in the comment section, but I think some of the comments have missed an important point. I'm speaking of the comments that are implying that lolita fashion is comparatively acceptable to more mainstream fashion styles of women who wear more revealing clothing, such as "tube tops" and "booty shorts" and styles that are influenced by "Kardashian" or "Britney Spears". I feel ambivalent about this way of thinking. Some of these comments imply that it's acceptable to consider women who dress in a way that shows more skin "slutty" or "skanky", but that's reiterating the very same patriarchal, oppressive criticism that many lolitas encounter. There's no need to uplift one fashion style at the expense of another, even if that style is not to your taste. And there's no need to uplift one woman at the expense of another woman. Just because lolita fashion is often misconstrued and isn't mainstream in comparison to more revealing fashion styles, doesn't mean that women who wear less modest clothes are free from denigration by society. It seems that whether we wear modest or revealing clothing, people will always find fault in what we wear. People often mistakenly assume that women adorn clothes solely to attract the male gaze and don't consider that we are simply dressing for ourselves and like what we wear. So I implore you to do away with this kind of thinking, and instead of making value judgements based on personal taste, ask yourself if the clothes a person wears makes them happy and let them be happy.
Nearly 2 years later & this mini-movie still brings people together! Just happened upon this 3 months ago; it's insightful & well done. As a convention geek I sometimes have silly fanboy reactions in the presence of a really well dressed Lolita girl. There's just something magical about the look & something strong & confident about the girl who wears it. She appeals to the gentleman in me & puts a smile on my face! :)
I was looking at Lolita fashion in a magazine once and showing my mother, saying how nice I thought it was. She said that if I liked it so much I should wear stuff like that too. When I told her that it would be weird since no one here dresses like that, she said that I could start a trend. I think all parents should have that mindset. People should wear whatever makes them happy. I don't wear lolita because I haven't the money, but I cosplay. These girls are great! I think they're very brave.
in vancouver, you do see it on occasion every so often. Maybe I'm just out too much. We have several stores you can buy lolita dresses at though. i went to a store and my friend forced me to try stuff on.
omg this has to be the most inspirational video i've seen i'm recently getting into lolita and just seeing guys together so accepting of each other was really amazing :3 u go girls
This was very well done! Lolita documentaries are hard to come by, and this one is very well made. Thank you for putting correct information out on youtube! Maybe people will become more educated that way.
Thanks a lot for this video. I'm an aspiring (Young! Seems like there's a lot of my kin nowadays) Lolita, and I wanted to thank the maker of this video and the lovely ladies of Brisbane for contributing so much to give such a wonderful video.
my mother absolutely adores the fashion and lifestyle of lolita, and my father prefers me leaving the house in a blouse and knee-length skirt than what a lot of my peers are wearing! I have a very accepting family and they've never once criticized my choice in clothing.
@NoxiousGum I'm glad you still wear it :) I shot it on a Panasonic P2 camera, can't remember the specific model. It's broadcast quality, however my dvd-rip wasn't great so it's not HD on here unfortunately..!
i just want to say that i think its a good thing to be who you are and do as you wish. and to all the people who call lolita slutty... most teens wear short pants and ripped shirts this girls wear cute dresses and high socks. i don't think thats slutty at all i think its cute. \(' . ')/
I'm a guy and I consider myself a crossdresser. I wear all male clothes all the time, but, part of me wants something different; and I kind of liked the Lolita fashion. I don't own a single piece of this fashion, but, I would like to get skirts and and JSKs and dresses; Gothic and Classic lolita would be my type. Any tips or cheap places to buy?
+ᏰᏗşιℓ A really good site is called www.my-Lolita-dress.com It is still kinda expensive, but it is really good quality and MUCH cheaper than brand. Also, some items can be tailor made for you so that it fits you exactly. I hope this helps!
Wow..I must have seen this documentary about 20 times and watched showed it to like 5 other people. I have to say it always blows me away. So accurate and skilfully put together!
Lolita fashion to me is cute! I actually want to try it myself! I say people who call it "revealing" or stuff like that are just making a fussy noise over nothing. They need to wise up, come back to reality and open their palettes more. To me, whenever I look in a magazine and see girls wearing it, they all remind me of alice in wonderland and some other fairy tale characters. So for people who show such distaste to Lolita Fashion, I'll say this: Grow up, go back and look up the fashion's meaning, tone down the overreacting and fussing, and rethink your tastes. I might say that to those guys because I think they have no taste in fashion like Lolita fashion girls do.
Oh yes, I have seen some really lovely classic lolita dresses but never knew of any brands. So thank you very much for referring me to one ^_^ One day I may buy something from there. I'll still make my own as well, for it's very fun to design and sew ^_^ I love to add trims.
I used to feel the same way as you. The only Lolita's I knew were high schoolers and when they found out I'm in my 20's they made me feel like a fossil. Age is irrelevant. If you love being lolita and it makes you happy then that's all that matters. The immaturity of some people is ridiculous. I can get along with almost anyone when we have common interests. Things like age, race, size, nationality ect should never be an issue.
You guys are so brave , and I have so much respect for you. I am going to be wearing Lolita for the first time in January hopefully ,and plan on going into the lifestyle. I have been since I was 13 i am now 21. I am a brolita and i plan to wear both boystyle and dresses. thankyou for this video.
Amazing! You guys are beautifull. I am so happy you uploaded this. I am sorry anyone has been made to feel not safe, this shouldn't happen anywhere. Thanks so much. The quality of this video is so good and you are all very lovely ladies!
It doesn't have to be, but it makes it so much more fun. Excitement about new releases, wearing matching coordinates or planning coordinates for events, shopping vicariously through their purchases, getting cheap second hand stuff from local lolitas.. But even outside of that context, some lolitas I've met have a lot more in common with me (art, photography, taste in films, music, other fashion styles) which makes for a more substantial friendship.
Ah hi there, thanks for the comment. I'm not a writer/director but since Lolita is a passion of mine I ended up doing this film... I would have loved to go deeper but we had limited time/assessment piece length was only 10 mins! Thank you! I don't post on this channel anymore btw - new channel is Deerstalker Pictures :) I just watched an adelaide loli documentary yesterday, was that yours?
This is absolutely lovely! ive been interested in lolita since high school, its just so expensive so i make due with what i have, one day something from innocent world shall be mine. And you are all beautiful!
I simply adore this! It would be a wonderful way to explain lolita to a group of people or just to watch for fun. It's well made and really shows the feeling of the fashion well. I have been waiting for this since you posted the preview and was not disappointed!
The main sub styles always have the same main elements, but there are different designs and colours for spring/summer, and fall/winter, just like regular fashion. Not that that stops people from wearing things in any weather/season, and you don't always have to buy new things but that's the fun part..
She means important to the culture of Lolita. If there were no brands, we wouldn't have such a huge following, know what Lolita really looks like, etc etc. You can be a perfectly good lolita with all handmade stuff, but you'll probably be inspired by the brand designers!
Most designers outfits, depending on the style, accomodate up to 88, 94, 97, or 104cm bust, but there are places you can get custom sizing (the chinese shops that sell replicas or their own designs)
This is a great documentary, I adore the graphics and I love your accents! I tend to not really care what strangers say to me, I've found that yelled insults are easy to brush off as I don't know them (and they obviously don't have the 'nads to come up and say it to my face) but what my mother thought mattered more to me than I originally anticipated. She got a lot better about it after she found out there was a community surrounding Lolita fashion, and that I wasn't the only one "being weird".
You girls are so brave and I know how you guys feel. I'm a Ball joint doll owner and I also have people stare at my friends and I when we are out in public with our dolls. Whether it be at a doll meet or just hanging out at the park.
Awww. I wish Lolitas lived near me so we could meet-up and do Lolita things together. Anyways, what a nice documentary! I especially love the beginning!
I remember when I wore lolita for the first time. I felt really out of place but it wasn't new. Everyone focused on my shoes when giving compliments for the most part. My math teacher stopped class to discus my outfit and I explained it to everyone. They still thought I was weird but my teacher was interested. A girl in another class that I'd never talked to in my life ran up to me almost yelling "WHERE YOU GET DAT HARAJU-KU GURL!?" I tried so hard not to laugh as I told her.
Totally. Happens where I live too. Some girls came up to me, snickering and laughing and their all like "Don't you think you're too old for that? I mean, you look stupid. How are you even going to get a boyfriend?" I just really wanted to respond, "Aren't you a bit too young to wear that?" But it's not their fault. I choose to wear these clothes, and I put myself out there, (although I get unwanted attention..)Although I got to say, one of the girls in that small group, did fine my clothes nice
Yes, I must admit, my sweet tooth for life drew me to this short film. It should be noted that there are people who revel in seeing others live life outside "the box" by being real. I am a force for positive vibes & a dapper "Californio" drawn to bevys of Lolitas in waiting. LOL! Please...Keep Calm & Loli on, and I'll tip my hat to you & your shining magic!
I don`t like this fashion but i started crying because of the big admiration from me to these girls. they really rock so much ! Wonderful people ! Excuse my english
Well, gothic is mostly black, but certain elements are popular now and then, like for instance stained glass is a current trendy motif across gothic/classic lolita. It's winter in japan, so velvet and long sleeves is back in, however in summer chiffon is preferred..
I have been waiting for this video to come out :)) It is amazing to see so many people dressing in Lolita ~ It makes me really happy, share the love I say ~ ~
You can go to Bodyline, EGL sales, Annahouse...anywhere except Ebay. Ebay sells the costume/maid lolita outfits..which isn't really lolita. I'd put links on here, but TH-cam won't let me, >.
oh my!! you almost made me cry, i was so touched by this video!! we go trough the same things, the diference is the place, i think you look so gourgeos and pretty, i'm so proud of the australian lolita comunity (sorry for my poor english)
Mom: where do you think your going young lady?
Me: I'm going to hangout with my fancy friends.

The style is suppose to be nonsexual and cute. Compared to what I've seen in fashion, Lolita is very innocent.
Yeah, calling someone dressed in proper lolita garb a "slut" is asinine, IMO. It neither shows much skin, or fits to body shapes.
I love that the young woman of today , are inventing their own beauty not defined by popular culture. While viewing the pretty lace colors and ribbon, I had a sense of that these young women do not want to dress like the typical Kardashian or Brittany Spears half naked same old same old way of dressing. Great comment.
People always target the pretty ones that stand out. Don't worry you guys, lolita is getting stronger all over the world.
Sully Gutierrez I hope it hurries up and gets stronger all over the world soon, because where I live there isn't a single lolita :'(

They are not all Teenagers. There are Lolita's in their 20's
I meant in general, they all wear such lovely dresses and today's youth usually dress so badly.
I'm guilty of doing that a year back was the worst, but I've gotten much better
We all made mistakes but we do overcome them.

I get called a skank and a slag and yet the people who call me that know I'm a virgin and forever accuse me of never going out. if i dont go out how can I do stuff to make me a slag? and a fat slag, by a fat girl :/
Wow, talk about totally harsh
Exactly!! I love lolita for that reason!!!
How is it bad? Are sluts not the ones in tiny shorts and tops nearly as low as their belly button?
Agreed
He threw a pickle at them like wtf XD
Words aren't kind, throwing things is assault. More over, as a man, I'm wondering how that would possibly increase your chances of finding a mate. Seems to me that if someone's throwing a pickle over what someone's wearing that they have some fairly major issues with reality.
Lolita has made me happy! I use to think flat faces where ugly!! 😄 people said I was ugly, but this fashion has opened my eyes! I look like a doll, (sort of) so I know I'm not ugly! I'm pretty! 😀 (yay) 😂 😅😅😥😓😩😋
That is such a cute things to say! Yes embrace your beauty!!!!!!!
Yeah it makes me happy to look at and I got my first lolita skirt recently so I'm very happy with it. It's so beautiful. I've worn it out a few times and felt very cute and pretty but like i stood out too much
Thank you TH-cam suggestions...that is a good video, even watching this in 2021 !
good for them doing what makes them happy despite what society thinks
Such adorable dresses
so pretty Emily very femine
pretty petticoats Emily agree
Kevin Simmons I'd kill for them lol
I know arnt they pretty lovely lace detail
Emily I takeit u love dressing up
Why in the world would people call lollita 'slutty', I see it might be causing some problems with finding a job and stuff, but it's a just clothingsstyle(/maybe a lifestyle for some people) And I think it's just bullshit that people take it as an offensive. Society needs to take a chillpill, dang!
Because the term i think means a 12 year old prostitute, although it could also identify by a slutty book.
OneWingDown No, it does not mean a 12 year old prostitute, or anything sexual at all. It is both a nickname for girls with sweet faces and girls named "Dolores", and a play on the Japanese term "Loli", which means a young girl, or a Lolita.
I know that, although the term didn't come around tell late 80's.

Lolita just makes me happy! When i what it i feel much more confident! Anyone else?
im more happy in lolita. the only sad part is a boy friend cant wear anything lolita-like with me cuz dont know where to start.
I need to find some LOLITA friends in the UK Westmidlands
I love the style but i feel alown
I'd love to be able to wear lolita but I just can't afford it. :(
Try Bodyline! :D
Just stay away from malinoo....
+PinupMe Or sometimes make one yourself at least the accessories
Try looking through your local Thrift shop. You would be surprised by what you could find in there. also there are plenty of DIYs on TH-cam on how to make Lolita skirts and accessories and a lot of them are super easy to make. some don't even require sewing!
Taobao is your friend. So is Lace Market
i'm not a lolita , but i had cosplayed in some puffy dresses .
i don't understand how people can be so angry at nothing , i mean puffy dresses are covering most of the body if not than there are also probably extras like a little coat and long socks , i just don't see how people would think it's some kind of perverted desire too , because who would be dressed like a little girl [
~few years later~ I am a lolita.
@@lulylulyanka2676😊glad to see the development 😂
omg this feels like such a different era
😊cool mom
in vancouver, you do see it on occasion every so often. Maybe I'm just out too much. We have several stores you can buy lolita dresses at though. i went to a store and my friend forced me to try stuff on.
Lolitas are the cutest!
omg this has to be the most inspirational video i've seen i'm recently getting into lolita and just seeing guys together so accepting of each other was really amazing :3 u go girls
This was very well done! Lolita documentaries are hard to come by, and this one is very well made. Thank you for putting correct information out on youtube! Maybe people will become more educated that way.
Crying because this was made in Brisbane. BRISBANE LOLITAS pleas ebe my friend.
Thank you for this video. You all are so creative and warmhearted persons!
Thanks a lot for this video. I'm an aspiring (Young! Seems like there's a lot of my kin nowadays) Lolita, and I wanted to thank the maker of this video and the lovely ladies of Brisbane for contributing so much to give such a wonderful video.
One of the best documentaries I've seen of the fashion! :D Great quality!
my mother absolutely adores the fashion and lifestyle of lolita, and my father prefers me leaving the house in a blouse and knee-length skirt than what a lot of my peers are wearing!
Parasol fight *_*!! I'm a lolita but I live in a town where I can run around in it pretty freely ^^; I love this documentary!!
***** Thank you so much for responding; you just made my day ^^ Okay, I will try Bodyline and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion!
***** Milanoo steal designs and photos from other designers and sell poorly made replicas as their own. Don't buy from them.
ᏰᏗşιℓ fanplusfriend
bodyline
How is it revealing if you can't show your shoulders, legs, or chest?
Oh yes, I have seen some really lovely classic lolita dresses but never knew of any brands. So thank you very much for referring me to one ^_^ One day I may buy something from there. I'll still make my own as well, for it's very fun to design and sew ^_^
I love to add trims.
Ikr? I love lolita documentaries!
I wish people would just realize that everyone is different, unique, and special in their own way and learn to accept everyone for who they are.
I cant remember how many times I have watched this video. I love this video it's so inspiring.
Great video!! Love all the interviews and explanations. Awesome points to Brisbane!
Amazing! You guys are beautifull. I am so happy you uploaded this. I am sorry anyone has been made to feel not safe, this shouldn't happen anywhere. Thanks so much. The quality of this video is so good and you are all very lovely ladies!
Great video girls!
This is by far the best lolita documentary i've seen yet. :)
i didnt want it to end!!!!
I'm in love with Victorian fashion. I'm so glad I found something modern and similar at the same time!
I really liked this video, thank you for making this, hopefully I can share this with my family that just doesn't understand.
This is so amazing. I love this. Thank you so much for sharing.
This makes me so happy
This is absolutely lovely! ive been interested in lolita since high school, its just so expensive so i make due with what i have, one day something from innocent world shall be mine. And you are all beautiful!
That girls collection is adorable, I love this style!
Oh my goodness, I saw you girls in Brisbane the other day! They were absolutely stunning!
This was phenomenal, so nice to finally see it! Great job thanks to everyone involved.
I really like this documentry,it was very inspiring!
I wore lolita out for the first time last night :)
Whether it be at a doll meet or just hanging out at the park.
who owns pickles?!XD
Americans...
i have 4 types of pickles in my fridge right now
yummy :)
Posted on my birthday
I think it's very nice, some outfits are gorgeous
How are you even going to get a boyfriend?"
I just really wanted to respond, "Aren't you a bit too young to wear that?" But it's not their fault.
LOL! Please...Keep Calm & Loli on, and I'll tip my hat to you & your shining magic!
everyone looked amazing ^^
also FYI, this doco has been screened partially in Korea on their news, and in full in the UK on Community Channel :)
I don`t like this fashion but i started crying because of the big admiration from me to these girls. they really rock so much ! Wonderful people ! Excuse my english
eh what?
Ahhhh!~
I loved this! I wish it was longer!
Where could I find a Goth Lolita Bible? I wanna be a Lolita SO bad, they always look so cute! :3
You can find them on eBay, or at conventions :3
Thanks! :D
Well, gothic is mostly black, but certain elements are popular now and then, like for instance stained glass is a current trendy motif across gothic/classic lolita. It's winter in japan, so velvet and long sleeves is back in, however in summer chiffon is preferred..
I have been waiting for this video to come out :))
It is amazing to see so many people dressing in Lolita ~ It makes me really happy, share the love I say ~ ~
hello im a melb lolita when i started out in lolita i made my mum watch this and i just want to say thank you
@Kanekonagase Thank you! The graphics were styled like Ouran High School Host Club, because I thought it was really romantic. :P
You can go to Bodyline, EGL sales, Annahouse...anywhere except Ebay. Ebay sells the costume/maid lolita outfits..which isn't really lolita. I'd put links on here, but TH-cam won't let me, >.
oh my!! you almost made me cry, i was so touched by this video!! we go trough the same things, the diference is the place, i think you look so gourgeos and pretty, i'm so proud of the australian lolita comunity (sorry for my poor english)
wow, honestly i am very surpirsed this video hasn't gotten more views, this is very .. inspiring and wow
It's from the Ouran High School Host Club soundtrack :) Scherzo for Orchestra.. unfortunately getting replaced in the re-release of this film^^
i love how they used Ouran Host Club music when showing them...it made me smile so much :)
The Lolita look is a wonderful fashion statement.
You can get a lot of beginner stuff for quite cheap if you look at Taobao or Bodyline, or second hand from your local community.
This was an amazing documentary!
