Getsy has been alright.. Definitely questionable at times with his playcalling. Especially last week. Most of this is Fields being detail orientated and determined to be better week in and week out.

I was born into some great years (1979) and boy am I excited. We have a terrible record and an overall bad/rebuild team but I still love watching every game.
The fact that he has so many throws that are elite just makes me giddy with excitement every game. Never expect to win with the state of the defense but even with what we got on Offense this kid is putting us in reach.

Yeah as he doesn't get injured. His current rate of rushing isn't sustainable in the long run. If he keeps running the ball over 10 times per game it's just a matter of time before he tears a ligament or gets some other injury from a hit a high speed/impact hit. If the bears are smart, they should try to reduce how much he's running. Definitely minimize the number of designated runs. They need to really try hard to protect him to give him a better chance of being healthy for when the team is built well enough to be a realistic title contender. Ideally his rushing should be mostly relegated to easy open scrambles on passing plays in which he can avoid taking hits by sliding or running out of bounds. It's really fun to watch him average over 10 carries per game for 75 yards, but that's very risky. So hopefully they manage that well. He to have a lot of potential if his passing game can develop a bit. Hopefully he can avoid major injuries
Wow. These plays are from only one season with what I would describe as subpar talent surrounding him. I can’t imagine what his career highlight tape will look like.
This season doesn’t look good on the record books but I’m more than satisfied with how he’s progressed through the season. Just got to hold out till next year but we’re coming 🐻⬇️
I'm not trying to minimize his passing, but what I really like to see are the runs. I think he's the only runner I've seen who reminds me a little of Gale Sayers.

I hope to see more development in the passing game though since he clearly has the accuracy and can hit receivers in stride and in tight windows in a way Trubiscky couldn’t while having the mobility Cutler didn’t. Once he has more time and some receivers he’ll definitely be a serious duel threat. Protect the tank Bears!
Hopefully these next 2 games they avoid any big plays and just let fields play in the pocket and get those passing reps in we've already seen enough to know that he isn't a bust and hes an OK passer and he will get better with time we just need to let him get these reps in against teams that are actually playing for something hopefully though we stay under 4-13. A 4-13 record I'll accept I mean a win is a win I might as well enjoy it Although I would much rather prefer the 1st overall pick but if we get a top 5 pick with a win I say trade down and get a wide receiver or an offensive line I would love jordon Addison

Furthermore, he’s perfect for the Bears as an organization. The franchise famous for versatile rb’s (Sayers and Peyton) now has one of the greatest rushing QBs of all time.

Our offense is really weak...which. .cause the defense to work harder then they should....going into the next season we need to focus more in getting our offense together
