    Always amazes me that these vehicles have no lights visible on the sides, or very few, hence when at a road junction other vehicles don't realise what vehicle is the emergency vehicle

      A there undercover , it would kinda defeat the object if they had more lights then necessary,, and b i think they have more then enough lights on them, and a deafening siren under the bonnet,, that should give people the idea it's a under cover police car,🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,, i think c would be the cherry on the cake is WHEN pc plox either winds the window down and gives said motorist words of advice or they get out the car to physically tell said member of public to please move lol 🤣🤣,, not really sure how it could be undercover with more lights because it would be self defeating 🤣🤣they look REALLY noticeable as they are pulling out of a junction with various lights flashing and a REALLY loud siren, most people seem to get out the way,, intresting comments saying by putting more lights on the side ect it makes side viability better,, intresting because even a fully marked up car some of the public struggle to see,, not sure how or why they struggle but some people do,, maybe they should bring i some mandatory eye tests or a resit after a certain period of time for everyone. Failing that maybe ironically they need more police on the road to weed out the dodgy bods on the roads.

      @@paul8161 In daylight hours they are very difficult to spot as their lights are small and don't show up very well, I get that they're undercover, but they still need to be visible when negotiating traffic, especially in somewhere like London

      @@keithclark6299 lol,, difficult to see in the daylight,,REALLY!!??,,🤣🤣, wow.the flashing lights and siren should give you a clue if your struggling or someone else to see them.as they drive down the road with there lights and siren blaring .intresting comment..its allmost like you really believe what you wrote,, i hope not for YOUR sake,, bit embarrassing. 🤣🤣there pretty visible as you can clearly see in the video.🤣🤣

      @@paul8161 Yes, really, I have encountered unmarked vehicles on many occasions, as I am a professional driver, I find myself hearing the sirens OK, but unable to distinguish which vehicle the sound is coming from, especially if it is weaving in and out of traffic, and if approaching side on it's virtually impossible.

    Yes, they have lots of flashing blue lights but at a junction, they are not very visible so other drivers are unsure how to react. Why don't they all have one of those magnetic round flashing lights to place on top of the car? Much more visible and attention-getting.

    • @thefiestaguy8831
      @thefiestaguy8831 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because they have to be attached and removed every time, also the window has to be left open and when the siren is going it's bloody loud.
      It's loud enough driving with two tones inside the car with all windows and doors shut, let alone with a window open so the wire for the magnetic beacon can fit through.
      They also don't massively help, there's one lying around in the station I work out of, and it's not been used in years. Nobody uses it. Most of the cars are either fully covert (With hideaway LED lights), marked cars which are obvious anyway, or just plain cars with no lights and no siren.
      The flashing blue light on the roof isn't what gets their attention, it's the siren. In the same way that most people notice an emergency vehicle usually because of a change in the siren tone, and also because of flashing headlights.
      If you look in your rear view mirror during daylight hours, and see a vehicle coming towards you with blues flashing, if they are making use of the Headlamp flash function that is likely to be the first thing you will notice.

    Had any of those guys actually been on a driving course, making progress lol.

    • @thefiestaguy8831
      @thefiestaguy8831 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Of course they have, the driving course teaches you to "make progress" but with the main element being safety, not speed.
      Far better to be slower especially through built up and heavily pedestrianized areas such as London, than to race there at breakneck speed and be involved in a PolCol en-route. The length of investigation in the job and the way that response drivers are treated if they are involved in a collision is very questionable, and if you ask some of the drivers they will tell you "if you are involved in a collision with a pedestrian, you are basically thrown under the bus", in other words left to hang out to dry.
      I'm in the job and the vast majority of drivers are very good, and make very good progress, often covering several miles in a matter of a few minutes.
