Happy to see you playing through the Tag Force games! This series is really good, and I'm a firm believer that Tag Force 5/6 are the best Yugioh video games ever made (and likely will ever be made)
I really love the isometric day to day aspect that never was the same after tag force 1 Not that it's bad on the other games (except tag force arc v special)

All right, Asprey is playing Yugioh which means one thing: He's gonna destroy everyone's yugioh waifu. And the scary thing is we're all being dragged with him in his ultimate conquest.... Which is just fine by me lol. This is gonna be a fun little let's play project especially since the only time I heard about this game was from a TV show that gave the game a 2 out of 5.
Used to love these games. If you don't know you can buy the sandwiches and give them to the main characters and it builds your friendship with the them. Zane loves the plain one you get a card with. Also if you hold L1 or R1 a short cut menu shows up and triangle let's you talk to people without opening the menu. Enjoying the play through :)
Skyscraper should have destroyed Umi during the Jaden duel at the end of the video. During the “one field spell” period of the card game, the other field spell would be destroyed immediately upon activation. In fact, I think even upon hitting the field (before activation) and this matters because of cards like solemn judgment that outright negate activations.
I love tag force. This game taught me a lot how to play yugioh. Although duel academy gba was the first ygo game that I played (the first one close to ygo irl), I think tag force is better game overall. Now it's time to replay tagforce 3.
1:37:50 Not quite, but almost. Monsters that declared an attack cannot change their battle positions (on that turn) unless by some card effect. So you changed his battle position with the trap after he declared an attack. If, had you activated Etaqua on the battle phase, before his monster attacked, then yeah he could've changed it back to atk position on main phase two.
Funny Thing, I actually used the Stall guy Moses for farming money when I played this game. If you have a good enough deck he's reasonably fast to beat, and he has a lot of life points for you to go through, so you get a decent chunk of change every time you beat him.
I LOVE this game! Best £20 spent in Asda ever (English version of Target I believe?). I really enjoyed using a Water Deck. Only downside is that there wasn’t a chance to promote to Ra Yellow or Obelisk Blue
It's great to see you play more Yu-Gi-Oh games, but I had no clue Legacy of the Duelist borrowed so much from the Tag Force games. I might have to check them out since they seem so cool.
Awwwwyus! I don't know if you ever read comments, but I recommended this game to you like ages ago on some of the other yugioh VODs. It's one of my favorite childhood games! Like the amount of effort they put into it, the very very detailed filter and search options of the deck editor, the way they tell the story in 3 parts, how they have a daily school shedule with tournaments and actual written exams, how you can 2vs2 duel in the game. All the easter eggs and optional events you can trigger in the game, how they made a whole school where everyone can be dueled, every person with their own unqiue decks and you can even unlock every NPC deck recepy. The game even has the original anime soundtrack (if you watched the japanese uncut version of the anime) and all the effort they put into the 3D animations. They didnt have to do all that, but they did. I replayed the game around 2 years ago as an adult and the game is still as good as I remember it, really enjoyed it and put over 100 hours in it over the course of 2 months. I am so excited watching you play this, I really hope after the first playthrough you look up some guide to show off all the secret events and side story lines :3
I had this game as a kid. I remember a Tag Duel with Jaden where I my strategy was to use a few Equip Spells on Burstinatrix... and then Jaden immediately fused her into Flame Wingman and sent my strategy into the toilet. And if my strategy sounds dumb... it was. I was a kid with bad deck building skills.
So I can't remember if this is certain but I believe A-counters don't actually get their effect unless one of the aliens that explicitly explains A-counters is on the field. Like unless something like Alien Warrior is on the field the counters don't get their stat lowering effect. So there was a very real chance his A-counters never mattered
