Yes many people where very confused with this. No one knows YET, how quick or long you have to wait to rollover from TR to PR YET!!! We have to wait for the regulations to be drafted and passed. Then the process will be clearer

I was in paraguay in March and loved it. So to clarify the 5k USD deposit isn't needed anymore? Also another attorney told me down there that if you have a college degree then that could be waived. It will also be nice to hear about how easy or hard it is to get the residency. As long as a person can get the cédula then I'm good to go.
Not needed anymore. No deposit. College degree is t used either. You will start by getting TR and Cedula. Later applying for PR

Can I apply TR while I’m residing in other countries? Do I need to make a visit for TR or just hold it for a year or two then apply for PR?
You need to visit Paraguay to start the process
Does Paraguay consider U.S. LLCs as foreign source income? I am Spanish and maybe I can take advantage of that structure. U.S. LLC + Paraguay territorial tax system + Paraguay residency = 0% TAX. Do you know if that is the case? I would be VERY interetested if that was possible. Thank you.
Shoet answer, Yes. It depends if you are doing the work on Paraguayan soil or not. Many factors amd routes you can take. We have friends who use this route successfully. But I implore you to double check everything with your accountant. We have a great American accountant who lives permanantly in PY if you would lile his contact details. It is more important to understand your country of origins tax laws. PY is great and there are many ways to go about escaping your origin country. But you need to know what they(origin country) will look for or expect incase you where ever audited.

Pablo, you'd want to check the tax law in the US side first. Western countries are becoming very unforgiving on tax exemptions, but the Paraguay option us very appealing nevertheless.

There is No $10,000 investment Visa. 70k company process is called Suace. It takes you directly to Permanent Residency

Great info! When would the temporary residency and cedula expire if we were to do the process before new rules come out?
The new rules are half already out.
TR has commenced. PR is still on hold until the regualations are drafted and approved.
TR is valid for two years. At the expiry date it is possible to extend a TR application for a further two years.
When the REG's are all written up. And we have tested the complete system. Only then will we know exactly how everything will work together.
Regardless, we will the be quickest and still one of the top 4 companies to use to obtain residency and Cedula.

It is available. Yes. The sauce program. Leads straight to PR.But be aware you will have to show proof of invested funds when asked. If you watch the whole video, Grizzie does discuss this.👍👍👍

What is the process to renew my TR? Is it easy?
It is nearly the same as applying for it. Best to rollover to PR from TR instead of waiting two years an renewing TR. But we need to wait and see how this law will be applied when the PR program reopens

Yes. Notjing has changed in regards to this. You travel to PY for a few days while we start your application. You can then leave again and we will take care of the rest of the process and the Cedula application without you havibv to return

The law states you have to spend one day a year in PY if you stay on Temporary residency. If you rollover to Permanent Residency the Law states you have to spend one day every 3 years in the country to maintain residency. Practise and theory can be different depending on your circumstances. If you have valid reasons why you can't be here, then steps can be taken by your lawyers to grant you a pardon so to speak.
If you work in Paraguay you have to pay tax in Paraguay. 8-10% Money earnt abroad is tax free. There are many elements to this and there is no one simple answer. It all depends on each persons circumstances. This can more easily be explained via a video call. There is a link in the description on this video. Calendly link. Can I directly buy a piece of Land in Paraguay and live there for many years even if i enter as a tourist. I am from Philippines
You cannot live here for many years as a tourist. You would need to fly out/leave the country and then come back every 3 months. You would need to get residency to stay permanantely without any dramas. But you can buy the land as a tourist.
Just get residency. It will make life so much easier. But you can buy land immediatly. Yes. But that is also much easier once you are a residennt and have your Cedula

Bummer, so now there is no way to fast track the permanent residency through investment? It was nice to have a way that was concrete. It would suck to get stringed along for years to get a permanent residency and then denied and have to leave the country.

This is a lot of inconsistency in your video clip. You can get Paraguay permanent residency only after 2 years of temporary residency not an early pathway available. This is very important immigration change.
You can get apply for a citizenship after 2 years of permanent residency.
Any Citizen from Mercosur can still apply immediately for PR. And also refugees.
You can apply directly or immediately for PR through the Sauce investment program also.
I implore you to Listen to the video again. There is no inconsistency.
Only facts and transparent information.
Exactly how the law is working now and exactly how it stands now.
The regulations have not been written yet to govern how the laws will be applied.
So no one can comment on how PR will work exactly until the laws are finished.
Only then will it be set in stone.
It is probable applicants will have to be on TR for two years before being able to apply for PR, Yes. But it is not yet established in the regulations or Law. Only implied and or gossip around town at the moment.
We will not tell anyone anything that isn't yet factual.
In the past you have always had to wait 36 months or 3 years after recieveing PR to be able to apply for Citizenship. This may change. We will wait and see.
