നമ്മുടെ ശ്രീപത്മനാഭ ക്ഷേത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ച കോൽ അളവ് അവിടെ ഇപ്പോഴും ഉണ്ട് അതിന്റെ അളവ് സെന്റീമീറ്ററിൽ ആക്കുമ്പോൾ 75 cm വരും അത് പിൻതുടർന്ന് തേക്കോട്ട് ഇന്നും ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് 72 എന്നതും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്

ചിലപ്പോൾ 25 അംഗുമായിരിക്കും 1 കോലായി കണക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.. വിധിപ്രകാരം അത് ദേവാലയങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മിതിക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതുമാണ്..25 അംഗുലമുള്ള , 1 കോലിനെ "പ്രാജാപത്യ'മെന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു.

Imperial system are you sure it was brought by the British? My belief says they use metric system cms/mtrs/kmtrs. Etc. Americans use the imperial system which is inch/ft. Etc

What is the easiest way to convert kol to cent? Is it (kol x kol) / 72? Say if the pattika in the adharam says 16 ki pa 17 the va, it means 16*17=272 kol sq. 272/72 = 3.78 cents.

One Kol 0.72m
So One Sqr (Kol) = 0.72mx 0.72m = 0.5184 SQm,
One Cent =40.486 Sqm, That we Know.
SO Obviously
One Cent Contains (40.486/0.5184) = 78.097 Sqr Kol
1Cent = 78.097 Sqr Kol
2 Cents = 2x78.097Sqr(kol) = 156.18 Sqr Kol
