Granddaughter just graduated from a really intensive 11 month 8 day ABSN as the graduate with the highest GPA SUMMA CUM LAUDE. Hired at Houston Methodist. 85% of her classes was on line without others to study with.
Can you do a video how you stay motivated to do schoolwork/study, how your journey is going like how many semesters til you graduate,what specialty you want to go into? Are you nervous to be a nurse? Do you still work?

I’m not too computer savey i love how your study notes look with the photos it helps for people like me who are visual learners.
Can you do a screen recording of you taking your notes? What app do you use? Also for your disease conditions classes, do you study the same way or do you take other notes too? I love your tips!! Can't wait to incorporate them next semester

Hi Karla, how did you split your screen half-ways? When you showed the PowerPoint and your review sheet? Do you just minimize both screens? Love your channel 🤍🥰
You can shrink both screens. If you have a Mac just hover your mouse over the green dot at the top left and it will give you a split screen option, too.
I have a question. My professors almost never pull questions from the lectures .. only from the chapters. This makes it hard for me to study bc the textbook goes into too much detail and it makes it hard to decipher what I need to know for an exam. Also I usually have 3-4 chapters to read/write notes for each class which takes 6-8 hrs each depending. That takes too much time especially when I have sherpath work due every week. So, how would you recommend studying for these courses?
You can do it the same way. Just focus on the bolded words (as those are always important) and also in most text books they’ll have a summary section at the end of each chapter. Focus notes on that as well. A lot of the text book images you can find online and paste in your notes.
I stay motivated by remembering why I stared. "Being brave isn't the absence of fear. Being brave is having that fear but finding a way through it." Don't let your fears stop you from what you in life, it's definitely not going to be easy, but it will be worth it! 🤍
yes! I break down every chapter in the lecture, that way I make sure I understand everything 😊 my quizlet name is tatis_karla (a lot of my sets are private though lol)
Hey guys I am just so overwhelmed I finally passed 🥰my NCLEX after failing 6 times but thanks to my friend who recommended me to Mr. Ramson who provided me with audios and answers papers I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many methods but failed two times but that GOD today am a proud nurse , to all those who are still struggling to clear thier NCLEX also never give up see in your self and give a try to any opportunity you got I will recommend anyone who needs the same help I got by dropping Mr. Ramson, number I wish you all goodluck. it really depends on how long the lecture is and how many notes you have. Mine are usually 10-15 pages.
