I start my second semester next week and with so many personal problems it’s been hard to focus in school and stay motivated but this video was really helpful, wishing you a happy and successful new year!
That’s exactly what I did for my nursing prerequisites . I would always finish all my homework ASAP. This method helped me focus on future exams and reduced stress. Passed all my science classes with As because of this. Love your vids btw💕 And girl we have the same extrinsic motivation. I also have other intrinsic motivations.
I’m in my third semester of nursing and I was starting to feel scared that I got sooooo lazy... last year I had this big fire in my heart to become a nurse and get through nursing school but this last year is just a dread... thank you for this video 🤍
I got a little emotional watching this. I graduate in August 2022 (if everything goes well), and I am here once again on that hump, that I don’t feel motivated to do things. I have gotten lazy, literally slacking all the time and doing things last minute. I am also a Chamberlain student, and with the 8-week program, it is important to do things right then and there so it gets done. I already got pushed back by dropping a class because I am failing due to being burned out. Right now I am feeling the same way again. Seeing my scores low, just the right amount to make it to the next session. I know what’s important is I passed, but reflecting on it, it doesn’t look good and feel good because I know I could’ve spent more time and effort to get better results. I have a few classes to go but I don’t want to just stay in this zone until I graduate. Your advice about thinking why you are on this journey is important. It got to me remembering how I passed my HESI after failing my first 2 tries and waiting a year to take it again. That joy came back but a lot of mixed feelings came with it, making me question why am I doing this to myself and letting my laziness get in the way of me doing better. I hope it is not too late for me to turn things around and get good grades on my last few sessions until I graduate and pass the NCLEX in the future. Thank you for this. 💕
what you said in the beginning of 2021 and being a nurse this year is what I did the moment it hit 2020 last year. Like literally at 12:00 I was like "ima be a mf RN this year" lol. I graduated and just need to take my nclex now. It gets REALLY hard to be motivated after graduating because there's no deadline or professor that's gonna penalize you. Shit, these drinks don't even hit right anymore and probably won't till the day I pass my nclex lmao.
Thank you for your video! I am also a student at chamberlain and its so easy to lose that motivation. My motivation is also thinking about my dream car and a career in cosmetic nursing. Happy new year!
Sis,I’m a nursing student and this was soooo motivating...I do the things you recommend now,but this just confirms I’m on the right path ....happy nursing!! Thank you for this!
Thank you for your motivation I am going to LPN class this fall On summertime I prepare my self to study and read the book early by my self because English not my first language… it really hard but you make me feel 👏👏
Love this!! Perfect for starting the new semester. I loved the idea of getting a lot of your work done earlier in the semester. Definitely going to work on that!
You're so cute lmao, I love your advice. I'm the same way, I clicked on this vid bc I'm in a funk with studying right now but I always do all my assignments ahead of time as well, it really clears your schedule for study time! After watching I remembered why I love this career and I got motivated again, thank you!!
Thank you so much for creating this video for us and for sharing your wisdom with us! I always take away something good that inspires and motivates me. Happy New Year to you and your husband! Wishing you continued success! May God continue to bless you!
What style is your ray bans eyeglasses? I have been wanting something like yours but I can't find the right shape! It should say the exact # on the inside of the glasses temples :)
Hi Karla! I’m contemplating and have been contemplating going to nursing school for several months now, despite me hearing the many horrors of nursing school & how “brutal” it can be😅. I can’t think of anything else I’d like to do more and that would make the most sense, besides nursing school and becoming an RN, going straight into it. I am however very nervous & afraid I may not even be able to pass even my prerequisites, of which I have 8. Not sure how I would sustain myself throughout those 4-5 years. I’ve already been back to school 3x before, I have 2 associates and a certification in phlebotomy and long story short have been unable to get a career with any of it, I want this to be the last thing, the last time but am on the fence as to if it would be worth it since I’m told I wouldn’t graduate until 2027 and I’m already in my 30’s. At this rate I’m not even sure it’s an age thing, more so a fear & really not sure how I’d do in the science courses. I’m not a fast reader & haven’t done science in over a decade, not sure I even ever have (although I must have at some point, but have no recollection.) If you, and any others could possibly give me some insight, maybe motivation, pointers, I’m not really sure what I’m looking for haha but felt it was worth a shot. Some kind of sign maybe, who knows. I don’t want to take time in something I might fail at, I also don’t wanna live with the regret of not trying. Tough decision. I need some sort of career at this point I feel, although I’ve come thus far🙏
Wanting expensive things is not a bad things, if that what makes you happy then make it happen. As long as you don’t hurt someone else or other being do what makes you happy, life is to damn short to not have or do what makes you happy.
how are you trying to be a nurse but you’re out partying with large groups of people and traveling outside of the country during a global pandemic? How are you trying to be the nurse to take care of sick people but you’re actively participating in the spread of the virus? It’s hypocritical. Poor patients of yours, thankfully you’re just a student
I liked the content! I have been trying to research for a TH-cam vid similar to yours that teaches the topics in this TH-cam video. 👨⚕️Your breakdown really is similar to the content from this informative health enthusiast Dr. Ethan. Ethan's tips are helpful and I really learned a lot for my exams. You should really watch his page out and give the doc a subscribe! ➡️ #StudentDoctorEthan

This is a great way to go about it. It’s not so much the desire to do your homework but the habit you built that doesn’t let you procrastinate!
