Sorry for the slight delay with the video. I hope I didn't keep you waiting long!
Lyney came out on August 16, along with Fontaine's major release in Genshin Impact 4.0.
Lyney is a Pyro Archer DPS with charged attacks. Played mainly in Mono Pyro teams.
It's good that he can deal damage. But I'm waiting for the characters of the update 4.1.

Im so inlove with how he does an ending pose or bow whenever he does a skill or at the end of his burst. Especially around when the enemy dies, its like he went "voila! The enemy is gone" i find it so fun doing that lmao

He has a bug on his passive where specific health like 13899 and 14347 will keep giving you a stack even if you’re already at 60% health haha

ahh thats why my level 70 lyney always charge his stack, but now its level 80 and i dont get the stack again
how is this possible? I mean how's the math behind those numbers? is it also recurring in higher HPs..
@@ArcherNoElle My guess is rounding error since 60% of 13899 is 8339.4 which is higher than 8339 since Genshin always check with rounded number. 8339.4 > 8339 so passive works. I’ve been trying higher HP, but it never works except for 1 between 1500-1600. But it was a full number so highly doubt it works in higher HP; forgot which one it was and I already lvl up lyney.
We’ll need the Genshin’s game code to really know how the passive work.

Best of luck :D It took me 150+ pulls to get one (1) Lynette (I wasn't going for her specifically though).
I spent about 30 fates for Freminet and got 4 Sayus and a Zhongli at 22 pity😂 I didn’t want to overspend for him so I’m satisfied with getting an early 5 star but ig Freminet doesn’t wanna come home 🥲

Ahh I also got Lyney on my first 10 pull which was a total shock!! And then I tested my luck with the weapons banner and got his bow in 30 pulls- literally been playing since version 1.0 and this is the luckiest I've ever been. 🥰 Anyway you raised him so well and so quickly- bravo!! 👏🏾

The most relatable thing of this video is how he, in fact, kEEPS FKN DYING. He's so squishy i've had him for like 3 days and alredy went trough my 80 chicken healing him and STILL has died like 27 times (granted he's not fully leveled or buildt yet so that might be part of it), i swapped xiangling for thoma to have SOME shield so i can aim in peace and he STILL dies, im thinking abt swaping kazu for sayu so i can have EVEN MORE healing 😭
Are you making use of his self healing? With 2 stacks I get like 7k healing when i use his skill
I decided to use my Zhongli for his teamcomp, my lil magic boy is not dying anymore 🎉
@@emkaeyaglia yeah half of the fights i dont even get to build the stacks, he dies with like 4 hits from ANYTHING in Fontaine 💀
I suggest swapping out Kazu for a Shield Flex Character (Zhongli , Tankfei) or if you want to keep Kazuha , then you can replace Xiangling with Dehya (although damage drop is noticeable , comfortability is really more appreciated for him)
And I believe he retains his stacks even if you switch characters. Actually I'm not too sure, does he?? So far I've been playing under that assumption

you can cancel the burst cat animation and still get the damage by pressing e! helps a lot when enemies are attacking you

I got him and he's fun to play. His kit gives me Yoimiya vibe whwre you can fully utilize all of his skills in a combo.

Something i’ve noticed is that lyney is an amazing battery, without even using him as a battery. Normally i have some troubles keeping xiangling’s burst up, but since i started using triple pyro i have yet to swap to xiangling and be like “i have consumed hundreds of orbs, y no burst?”
Damn, I have my Lyney lvl 70 with Diluc Dehya and Shinobu. He's a heavy hitter and Shinobu keeps people off his ass with Overload and keeps him healed for constant 5 stack. Can't wait to get his NA and Skill to 10
