co-op community is an underrated one, it is the truest form of genshin community, include all types of player from theory crafting, lore nerd, teapot architecturer to even casual player. People saying that genshin community is toxic completely ignore the fact that casual player isnt as active on social media, while being the majority of the "real genshin community".
I think this map is easier and user friendly than the one made by Hoyo, not to mention these have underground maps way earlier. Those gold comments also add so much fun when you're 100% exploring the map.

As someone else who spends 12 hours contributing to the interactive map after each new map releases I cannot emphasize how much the community appreciates the work of Clothar pointing out everything. Reminds me of the time when ~4 people myself included, managed to document the location of EVERY obelisk tablet for each region of Sumeru not six hours after each update. I appreciate you guys and all of the sweaty work we do together to lend the community a helping hand

Pulling up that map and finding out people are also getting so frustrated over the annoying ass puzzles in inazuma just as much as i do made me feel so relieved

I actually knew about the community map way before the official hoyoverse's one. Honestly, the community's version is so much better to use and it's also very entertaining to see all the other comments too, especially K's Chlotar directives
The best thing about this interactive map is the Hide marked pin option. There are many pins that overlap and this option make it so easy to mark pin that's beneath, like, 2 or 3 other pins And it's not laggy, probably due to lower users than official one
This reminds me of the 3.8 GAA map where there are 3 overlaping time trials. And the comments are just the users complaining they cant mark them because they keep clicking on the wrong pin, heck some of them also comment they just find out you can entirely erase the pin with hide pin feature lol, gold comments

Yeah. Hide marked is the best feature. That and the comments. The worst thing i can say about the map is that it follows the official pins. Yuanshen is better at pins If you strive for 100%.
Honestly the community one seems so much more helpful than the official one. The multiple entries on the community one can help you find things easier cause it seems like half the time the officially accepted image/text is for the wrong thing. The memes are amazing. The text input is actually helpful most of the time, since it seems like a decent chunk of the official marks have no text on them.. You can hide pins you've already marked, which makes marking clusters of things a breeze.
I very much appreciate having multiple photos, because sometimes you're approaching at the wrong angle and you cannot find it based on a singular photo.
I love this map! It's much more user friendly than the Hoyo version, and the comments have helped me so often to solve puzzles, or find the right entrance to a cave!
Yeah, if you read the text, sometimes they will lead you to unmarked chests as well, such as the Inuzume 3 sweet flower -> 3 whopperflowers -> exquisite chest appears when you defeat them, so it's really nice.

Ye, I am "B.". I was doing this Chlothar thing in 3.6 over some dendroculus in Pari area (you can tell by pointing finger, then I gave that pic away). I stopped because I thought this to be repetitive and joke getting old. Then this guy named "K." started doing this in limited time even in 3.8 and now Fontaine. Props him for dedication

I havn't used it in a while but there was this guy who for Sumeru chests (if I remember correctly) drew these cute hilichurls surrounding the chests which was really nice. My favourite one was in the valurian mirage, there was no context just that picture of Willem Dafoe looking up I couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes.
It's so funny that people finally take notice of this. I came back to Genshin not too long ago and finally did Inazuma. I'm now in the process of using this interactive map to collect the eletroculi. And basically ever oculus that's locked behind some world quest or stupidly high up in some crevice, the comments only ever talk about how someone at Mihoyo has to get fired for this torturous placement of oculus in inazuma. I think Mondstadt and Liyue are pretty normal, iirc. But from Inazuma onwards, madness takes over. First rage (Inazuma), then acceptance (Sumeru), now deep-fried memes (Fontaine). Please tell this keeps on, cause it keeps my sanity in check when collecting those things.
The only one in mondstat that would have really shock me if I wasn't using the in game finder thing you can craft is one where you have to jump off a cliff at the edge of the map and on the cliffside it's literally clipped into the it ! And its like 75 percent engulfed like who would find it normally
I've used that interactive map ever since I discovered it. I never explore anything without looking at the interactive map, just to save time looking for chests and oculus without any direction. The community on that map is very helpful and lively, it is honestly just a lifesaver lol. I've seen a lot of funny comments and screenshots too. Ofc I've this K dude a lot of times there as well, it makes me laugh so hard.
I've been using the community map since I started playing, I prefer it over the official one. The comments on the electroculi are one of the best parts of the map as some people had pure mental breakdowns over some of their placements and its simply glorious.
the small backstory to this is that for a tiny bit the same guy uploaded the pics to the official hoyoverse map while the last sumeru desert expansion was out, but they got taken down rather quickly so he did it on the community map instead
I remember the pictures this community map had for last years GAA and they were so funny. I still have one picture saved and that's because, if you don't remember, there was these things you would collect that would make these NPCs who had snapshot from moments from the past and they appeared as these purple ghosts. And the top picture for one of these things to collect to make the ghosts appear was Zhongli behind this ghost mirror maiden who was bent over (idk why hoyo did that) and it looked like Zhongli was banging her from behind. Like, I love them for being goofy like that
I've been using that interactive map since the start and I really love the community interactions there, and in the other regions there are also similar memes and sometimes just wholesome moments of people interacting. Funnily enough, I went through most of the same ones you showed yesterday and laughed so much
I didnt know people would talk about how amazing the community map is. I literally wasted my time using the official map and half of the time there's just no proper instructions. At that time i thought i should mark things only on the official map. When I was pissed searching for underground dendroculi I decided to check the community map and realized it was so fun to do exploration through that. K and many other users made my exploration time a golden moment
I've been using this map forever. It's nice to see a little compilation of some of the good stuff like this. It's truly a wonderful corner of the community.
I actually have bene exclusively using the community map since the official map came out at a later date and i'm full in with you on this one, not only it is useful but it's also the damn funniest community content out there
K has honestly been the best part about the interactive map, I have never enjoyed farming my world before he came along. He's doing a good job and I want him to keep going

i just started using the interactive map this week and i found all the hydroculus in only like 2 days because i enjoyed finding this dudes photos in every one i clicked on xD hope to see more of him in future patches
Btw, the guy that made the pic for the dendroculus with Yae Miko at 4:36 also did many similar photos for other dendroculuses, always with smiling Miko, and i love that, so cute
This 'cursed' genshin interactive map is the best one out there just because the community will always give out solutions with different perspective, making it easy if u r in a similar situation as those who posted their opinion/help
Honestly, for me, the most fun thing on this site will be the Russians who were looking for agates in the mountains. Half of the comments there are just swearing in Russian at some guy who played genshin instead of studying for exams
Honestly, the funniest part of this map was my first reaction to seeing the Caribert quest man was "YO IT'S THE CURSED POINTER GUY I FINALLY FOUND HIM! (He Points Angrily) *AND HE POINTS!"* since I used this map since the beginning of my journey so I've been seeing that sprite so many times. Hilarious, I love this map. XD
One of my favorite thing about this map is Crimson Agate locations on Dragonspine These comments are golden, people were just going insane trying to find agates under sheer cold
Not only that but I remember there was a chain of people yelling at someone to heal one of their characters and then confusion from others because the og pic drowned im the comments and sometimes i go back to just laugh at that thread lmao

One of my favorite posts from the interactive map is in the Chasm where you find the guy getting high on shrooms and someone posted that cropped meme image of the guy with red eyes and the shitty haircut
I’ve used this map for a while and three of the best ones off the top of my head are one where everyone is sad that they killed an innocent hillichurl in the chasm above ground, one on Tsurumi Island where Kokomi is happy before killing 2 abyss mages,and one from the Enkanomiya event a while back where everyone was traumatized by a time trial that had 2 waves of 3 specters back when they were harder.

I have used this intercative map for ALL my exploringq The communtiy can be so helpful yet so stupid at the exact same time Toggle your aranara on and look for the singing aranara and you will find memes of free concerts EVERYWHERE or people screeching avout giving mats to aranara
This reminds me of Food Fantasy which is a mobile gacha I used to play a lot. It has these combat levels and some have different conditions to get through them (like weather effects that drain health, or buffs certain surprise enemies have), but my favourite part is that people can comment on them and oh my god- the AGONY some people are put through is SO funny. Some of the comments are normal, like team comps to help people get through the harder ones, but oh my god, seeing some shit about them struggling or cursing the level is hilarious.
That K dude is my saviour. I know this becuz I literally spent 15 minutes in gliding down from the same waypoint looking up in the sky to see if there's a hydroculus after finally looking it up and realizing its just below it 0:43
He has a bunch of those in the desert too lmao especially the last desert expansion area. It genuinely made collecting all the dendroculuses less painful
i've been using this community map since 1.1 when dragonspine out and still using it till now.. and i can tell you guys that many things happened during all this time xD
community created sites for free use are probably the best thing ever, for any game really. everyone works together and listens to what eachother would like for the game and it's just more fun that way

Its great when someone posts a particularly impressive screenshot of their character interacting with the world, then a bunch of people all recreate the same pose with their favorite characters. Especially with imaginative use of idle animations and stuff.
One of the funniest thing I remember on this site was the 2022 summer Event. The comment sections were in so much chaos because a lot of chests and things to collect were on top of each other and nobody could click on what they wanted lmao So everyone kept giving advice for the wrong thing. Man that was good
I will always use the community made map because it just shows the best parts of fandom. People goofing on the locations and including memes special to that map as an inside joke for everyone involved. It gets so wacky so often and it brings so much life to grinding because you’re always met with the funniest comments at every turn.
I remember I was using the map when the archipelago came out and I was looking for the conches. There was one particular conch that was in an area underground that was quest locked and the top comment was someone's screenshot of Ayaka's face staring back at you with the caption "where conch".

Clothar broke his curse by transcending beyond the game into our world, and now he helps players finish the game (and perhaps finish the story) faster
Perhaps what he meant by "Loom of Fate" was a big reference to Red Skull in MCU

I think Mondstadt and Liyue are pretty normal, iirc. But from Inazuma onwards, madness takes over. First rage (Inazuma), then acceptance (Sumeru), now deep-fried memes (Fontaine). Please tell this keeps on, cause it keeps my sanity in check when collecting those things.

The only one in mondstat that would have really shock me if I wasn't using the in game finder thing you can craft is one where you have to jump off a cliff at the edge of the map and on the cliffside it's literally clipped into the it ! And its like 75 percent engulfed like who would find it normally
I've used that interactive map ever since I discovered it. I never explore anything without looking at the interactive map, just to save time looking for chests and oculus without any direction. The community on that map is very helpful and lively, it is honestly just a lifesaver lol. I've seen a lot of funny comments and screenshots too. Ofc I've this K dude a lot of times there as well, it makes me laugh so hard.

I've been using the community map since I started playing, I prefer it over the official one. The comments on the electroculi are one of the best parts of the map as some people had pure mental breakdowns over some of their placements and its simply glorious.

the small backstory to this is that for a tiny bit the same guy uploaded the pics to the official hoyoverse map while the last sumeru desert expansion was out, but they got taken down rather quickly so he did it on the community map instead

I remember the pictures this community map had for last years GAA and they were so funny. I still have one picture saved and that's because, if you don't remember, there was these things you would collect that would make these NPCs who had snapshot from moments from the past and they appeared as these purple ghosts. And the top picture for one of these things to collect to make the ghosts appear was Zhongli behind this ghost mirror maiden who was bent over (idk why hoyo did that) and it looked like Zhongli was banging her from behind. Like, I love them for being goofy like that

I've been using that interactive map since the start and I really love the community interactions there, and in the other regions there are also similar memes and sometimes just wholesome moments of people interacting. Funnily enough, I went through most of the same ones you showed yesterday and laughed so much
I didnt know people would talk about how amazing the community map is. I literally wasted my time using the official map and half of the time there's just no proper instructions. At that time i thought i should mark things only on the official map. When I was pissed searching for underground dendroculi I decided to check the community map and realized it was so fun to do exploration through that. K and many other users made my exploration time a golden moment
I've been using this map forever. It's nice to see a little compilation of some of the good stuff like this. It's truly a wonderful corner of the community.
I actually have bene exclusively using the community map since the official map came out at a later date and i'm full in with you on this one, not only it is useful but it's also the damn funniest community content out there

This 'cursed' genshin interactive map is the best one out there just because the community will always give out solutions with different perspective, making it easy if u r in a similar situation as those who posted their opinion/help

Honestly, for me, the most fun thing on this site will be the Russians who were looking for agates in the mountains. Half of the comments there are just swearing in Russian at some guy who played genshin instead of studying for exams
Honestly, the funniest part of this map was my first reaction to seeing the Caribert quest man was "YO IT'S THE CURSED POINTER GUY I FINALLY FOUND HIM! (He Points Angrily) *AND HE POINTS!"* since I used this map since the beginning of my journey so I've been seeing that sprite so many times. Hilarious, I love this map. XD

One of my favorite thing about this map is Crimson Agate locations on Dragonspine
These comments are golden, people were just going insane trying to find agates under sheer cold

I’ve used this map for a while and three of the best ones off the top of my head are one where everyone is sad that they killed an innocent hillichurl in the chasm above ground, one on Tsurumi Island where Kokomi is happy before killing 2 abyss mages,and one from the Enkanomiya event a while back where everyone was traumatized by a time trial that had 2 waves of 3 specters back when they were harder.

This reminds me of Food Fantasy which is a mobile gacha I used to play a lot. It has these combat levels and some have different conditions to get through them (like weather effects that drain health, or buffs certain surprise enemies have), but my favourite part is that people can comment on them and oh my god- the AGONY some people are put through is SO funny. Some of the comments are normal, like team comps to help people get through the harder ones, but oh my god, seeing some shit about them struggling or cursing the level is hilarious.

community created sites for free use are probably the best thing ever, for any game really. everyone works together and listens to what eachother would like for the game and it's just more fun that way
I was following my friend around in co-op as he was clearing Fontaine using this map and he kept sending the images to me and I was laughing uncontrollably like each fucking time

When I was farming every hydroculus, I was so glad to see someone posting these art pieces.
Its great when someone posts a particularly impressive screenshot of their character interacting with the world, then a bunch of people all recreate the same pose with their favorite characters. Especially with imaginative use of idle animations and stuff.

I will always use the community made map because it just shows the best parts of fandom. People goofing on the locations and including memes special to that map as an inside joke for everyone involved. It gets so wacky so often and it brings so much life to grinding because you’re always met with the funniest comments at every turn.
