Do you mean that the state in India which is the most economically backward should not be given money for development in the budget? If so much can be spent on Atal Setu and the bullet train in Maharashtra, then why not on Bihar, especially when Bihar needs development the most right now. We agree that there are problems in politics and corruption happens, but that doesn't mean you should leave Bihar in a poor state and not try for its development. Instead, you should focus only on already developed states/UTs like Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi, etc.

This is a political game the rich become richer and spend money on their own needs but a normal middle class man has to think twice, take loans to take care of his family this should not happen people should start questioning the government
I moved out of India to Germany one year back for exactly this reason , i used to work as VP in a banking organisation back in Bangalore and during pandemic i was stuck in my remote hometown and had to see my father suffer and die in local govt hospital due to cancer because of the pathetic condition of hospital and lack of essential medical equipment as it was covid lockdown so i couldn’t travel back to Bangalore. I still couldn’t completely forgive myself even after serving him a lot in his old age though i know in my mind that his death reason was not me but the local govt hospital failed me, even after paying around 6 lacks yearly as direct tax TDS this is what i got back. This made me introspect a lot & think about my life decision, now i feel good even though i pay around 35% -40% tax(around 2 lacks INR per month)but i am happy to pay that because i get in returns good roads, transportation, good govt medical insurance, free education for my kids, unadulterated food & pure air & other many things like pension after retirement, kids expense monthly allowance etc. if Govt doesn’t care of middle class but squeeze them for money how long will we work for them as bonded labour without any expectations.

*WORST Budget of all time.* . Middel class never gets anything...In 2015, investing ₹1,50,000 could get you 57.69 grams of gold. By 2024, the same ₹1,50,000 only buys 25 grams of gold. Despite the Section 80C limit staying the same, the purchasing power has significantly decreased due to inflation and price rises in every sector. This effectively provides less real value in 2024 compared to 2015.

There are many ppl in India who don't want to work and are happy with freebies. And we have to suffer so that they get their benefits. There are so many farmers earning in crores without paying a single rupee as taxes. Same goes with rich billionaires who escape from all this. So it's only middle class n upper middle 😢who have to face all this 😐

The defense budget is still around 75B in USD, which needs to be increased to 100B or more. And still no sufficient R&D budget and low spending on education. I can't imagine how much more tax we will pay when this happens.
