I love this track because as the laps go by, the track starts falling apart! The first lap is nothing special, but in later laps, pieces of the track crumble away, then sink into the freaking lava!

I will always remember this track for being one of the only non-Bower course with lava in it. I also love how intense it gets on hard mode playing as a light-weight CPU player since some of the track collapses and sinks into lava as the race goes on. This was the only hard track for me when the CPU difficulty was set to hard.
coolguy6233 Absolutely... although MKWii was definitely not the best game in the series overall, I think it's safe to say it had the best character roster, thanks to Bowser Jr., Dry Bowser, King Boo, and the introduction of Rosalina as a playable character.
Nathaniel Johnson I think it’s the best in the series for the shortcuts and overall competitive atmosphere. I have all the Mario kart games aside from super circuit and this is my favourite one. 8 and 8dx is a close second tho
@@AcryllixGD I like Mario Kart Wii in terms of tracks, sounds (because I feel like you can hear the other racers better, louder or simply more in mkwii then in mk8 deluxe), sound variation (If you use mushrooms or simply gain a speed boost, then the characters do all kinds of noises and have variations, whiles in mario kart 8 deluxe I only hear 1-2 sounds played everytime I boost, which gets extremely annoying, I also miss Warios „so long“, Baby Peachs „Okay“ etc. when they pass you) and Items. Yes you heard right: Thundercloud should come back imo. As well as Maxi Mushroom and POW Block. Also I miss Diddy Kong and Birdo :( Petey Piranha should also come back but that‘s a different story.

My guy why didn’t you just take the ultra shortcut at the very beginning around the rock formation to the left, that way you have finish the race in under 40 seconds.
The original grumble volcano is more challenging than the Mario Kart 8 version. Before Mario Kart Wii, all lava themed tracks were Bowser Castles. That’s a little lame no offense. I’m glad they had a track focused on a volcano. The Mario Kart 8 version of grumble volcano has more scenery than the original grumble volcano. The original grumble volcano takes place at a lava ocean. The Mario Kart 8 version of grumble volcano has terrain around the track. Which version do you prefer?
Same, my sister knew the ultra shortcut, she also knew the glitch in coconut mall as well which sucked. The only track I was good at was shy guy beach and Waluigi stadium

This has got to be one of the most chaotic tracks to ever exist in Mario Kart
IKR! It's also one of the only courses with lava that isn't some kind of Bowser castle course.
