Hey Nathan, so ya finally "answered" my question i asked early in series. Whole production pack modules is good idea and i am interested in how that will go. Btw, i dont remember if you did this in previous series, but i recomend doing bunch of specialized spidertrons, that you can control via remotes. It helps with rapid expanses and save you time (meaning hopefully more episodes for us :D). Basic idea is set remote for each leader and make bunch of other spidertrons with same equip always follow the leader, and equip drones accordingly for their purpose, like: Traveltron -> single main drone for travel purposes, full movespeed setup Buildatrons -> carry all building stuff and lotta drones Killatrons -> full combat shielded murdermachines for remote cleaning of map Fillatrons -> drones and landfill for filling whole oceans Cleanatrons -> Just drones for deconstructing big amount of stuff or deforesting whole planet
Not sure if it's intentional, but did you notice your blueprint doesn't include an interconnect for the red/green circuit network cabling between individual grid cells? So instead of one big circuit network you've got dozens of isolated 92x92 networks. Maybe your plans don't include megabase-wide signaling and this is all part of your plan, but I just wanted to point that out before you got too far into construction ;)
Hey Nathan! Great series, i've started to play factorio for the first time and this helps a lot! question! could you share your mods and also how does one get the notifications on the left hand corner? at 3:15
@@thiccbunga4255 I actually started playing with his videos too, and I do strongly recommend using the mods. Got with 3 people starting too in 40h to the spidertron. They help a ton. Especially factory planner and outpost planner. They give you knowledge and help you not to under-build your base and throughput. Something all experienced people will already know how to do, so they don't need the factory planner. If it gives you the fun and pace you want, why not, it's a game. (especially factory planner isn't more than a way more convenient excel sheet)
Yeah sorry, I will upload a save file after we launched the first rocket, there will also be all the mods listed. I have shown them in the first episode in the first 2 minutes if you don't wanna wait.;)
@@Nathans-Sandbox Relative snapping lets you place it whereever but when you click and hold while placing the blueprint it will start snapping to a grid
okay idk wtf is going on with this radar bp but it's not the same as yours with the same settings. -4 and -4 is not centered and is giving me much less space between set ups
you placed green and red wires on your grid,, but it has no connection to the grid next to it.. when you place two grids, those two grids have not connection to each others green and red wires.

bery nice nathan.... bery nice..
I’m very excited to see your new megabase design!

I believe he is using a mod called "factory planner"
but I do suggest that you play the game mod free for your first playthrough!

where do you get those pictures for the title screen of the movies?
Midjourney
thank you
seriously? Only 10 minutes? I'm going crazy aaaaaaaaaaa
is there a reason to setting your grid snapping on the bluepriont to absolute instead of relative?
I just wanted it to snap to the grid at 0,0. Absolute did the trick, I thought nothing of it. What would relative do?

When will you kindly provide a save file for your fan-boys :-)?
After the first rocket launch, is that ok?
@@Nathans-Sandbox please before you scrap the beautiful and efficient basic factory- it’s a gem
In today's episode I think.
@@Nathans-Sandbox thanks in advance

Booo we want longer episodesss
SERIOUSLY... again 10 minutes only?
next time it'll be 10 seconds, just for you ;)
I added 10 seconds for you to the next video.
