Rather, it fits mtg's identity of mixing precedent with the new-fangled to appeal and entertain a tasteful audience. This design encourages efficient replication (some scholars argue rather reproduction) and evolution of what memetics describes as cultural entities because it intrinsically mixes apprehension with adaptibility. In memetics, a meme is a unit of culture which replicates similar to a gene, with selfishness and causal efficiency, depending on selective retention, a derivation of natural selection in the study memes; they replicate for the benefit of itself, not the host. As a result, they may become viruses which take over one's conciousness, believed in memetics to be made of a complex network of memes which form memeplexes. A meme's proliferation does not intriniscally encourage the spread of viruses. In other words, while the flavor suggests slightly in a certain direction, selective retention combined with selfishness in the replication of memes, does not nessecarily indicate that the proliferation of brain-rot memes in the community suggests the use of mtg as a form of escape; I would prefer a more elegant conclusion. Sadly, I cannot determine one: there appears to be no other use than a quick hit dopamine. I have fallen towards the same tendency. To memetics, perhaps the mtg memeplex is all but filled with memes of the anti-rational type: a meme which spreads by shielding criticism through stifling creativity, perhaps in this case by smart long-term corporate strategy by WOTC in attracting and developing a certain demographic of player and the ignorance of myself included while chasing oxymoronic desires through a children's card game. I suppose this obvious all along, we all know this but are only human after all. I have a tendency to overthink and simultaneously underthink, AKA think improperly. In affirmation of the conclusion from my short incursion of memetics before hopping onto another mtg video, I must contradict (or is it affirm?) my conclusions through this brief statement: Cursed is when a passive and natural fictional life-form somehow becomes a crime against humanity.
